The lady spoke sadly, for she did not mean to harm him. "But, he shot at me." Her words slowly faded and became silent, for the scream of agony from Kain drowned the temple.

Kigari could do nothing but watch. Numb to the world around her, she cradled her fallen friends head in her lap. "Why?"

The lady stood there.

Kigari looked up. Her eyes were red with fury. "Why?" She asked again. "WHY! DAMN YOU!" Cocking her pistol, she rounded on the Lady. "I'll kill you!"

The lady spun around at the sound of the cocking of the pistol and screaming.

"Say your prayers." A silver bullet flies towards the lady.

Aggrivated the lady used her aura as a defensive sheild, relfecting the bullet from her.

"I am not your enemy," she finished with a firm conviction.

"You killed him! How can you say that?" Kigari screamed.

The lady looked down at the man upon the floor. She did not know if he was dead or not. The attack she used on his was out of aggrivation, but she did not use that much of her power to have killed him.

"Are you sure, he is dead," she asked concerned. She moved closer now.

"Stay away from him, you, you" Kigari can't even finish. Her friend lay before her, drained of blood, listless, and this woman was saying he could still be alive?

The lady stood there. She had killed, although she had not intended on it. Tears filled her eyes, she had killed an innocent person.

She moved deeper into the temple toward the demons and chaos.

Kigari went to Simon. "Simon? Please... forgive me, where ever you are." She suddenly remembers something. Grabbing her knife, and a container, she opens up his body and catches a little blood. Closing the container, she puts it somewhere on her person. "Don't worry, Simon. I'll make the Bene Tleilax get you a new body." Drawing her sword, she chases after the Lady.

The lady moved between demons while walking backward, keeping her gaze on Kigari.

The two spellcaster demons wove a shield of dark matter and wrapped it around Eric, completely engulfing him in darkness.

A small lower demon noticed Moebius' defences had fallen and launched itself claws first into his legs.

Balfar was again conscious...... but severely hurt. He lay there watching the hectic scene before him.

OOC: can I kill Moebius? :twisted:

The lady moved between demons while walking backward, keeping her gaze on Kigari.


"Lady, I will get you." Kigari draws her holy sword, idly slashing it into a nearby demon.

(OOC You certainly can. You could have killed Kain, I quite happy for my characters to die, as long as it is for a good reason. May I have permission to end kain spell, thus destroying the demons in the area and closing the portal?)

Moebius screamed in pain, as his spell was broken by the claws of the demon. He looked down and saw the vicous blood red demon gleefully hacking into him, they knew that Moebius was done for. And so did Moebius.

Moebius in vain offered a silent prayer to whatever God was listening, but they gave no reply. He brought down his staff onto the dmon but to Moebius' horror, the staff which had brought him so much power shattered upon impact, the demon's hide counteracting the magics.

"No!" Moebius cried as he was dragged down deeper, the mangled stub of his leg bleeding continuously. There was nothing Moebius could do, he offered another prayer in desperation to save him, but God did not respond to Moebius. Moebius had left the God's side long ago, and was favored for none for his previous actions. Moebius closed his eyes and awaited the death blow, unbelieveable pain soaring through his body. He mercfully passed out, the Gods gave him that mercy.


Kain on the hand was favored this day, he continued to dance, five of the spirits called up. He had one last one, then the true test of his abilitys. Kain began to float upwards, as he continued to chant with the spirits and a new voice crept into the song.

It was a woman's voice, a siren's voice, high pitched and with perfect harmony with the others. Fire, Water, Earth. Air, Dark, Light. They where all there, lthe light spirit a beam of light upon Kain's body from above, a counteraction to the dark beam from below.

But...Kain had one more ritual to complete, and his body he feared would not cope. But there was no other option. He had to...

Mephisto watched, idly as Moebius's soul flitted past. He snatched it. "Hello, magician. Remember me? We had a bit of a bargain. Time to collect my payment."

Moebius stared back at the demon, his face sullen and pale, a ghost. Then he broke down and cried. He knew what he was going to come. What he had paid for.

"Take it...it is your's..." Moebius wept, and treasured these moments of painlessness. it would be the last he would have for a long time.

(OOC May I have permission to end this now? To allow Kain to cast the spell?)

OOC: Moebius hasn't died yet...... and i have no problems with you ending it.

IC: As the small demon delivered the death blow to Moebius, a large gash opening his torso up, Balfar watched. He had managed to retrieve the soul orb and was ready to use it. With what little strength he had left, Balfar launched the soul orb directly at Moebius, hitting him squarely in the head. There was a dark pulse emitted from the orb as it sucked in Moebius's soul, the body left a mangled corpse. The lesser demon recieved a message from Balfar to send it through the portal. It catapulted the orb through the minute remains of the portal as it began to close.

Balfar laughed. At least he got the magician. All other demons focused on either attacking the inquisitors or Kain. But there were powerful defences surrounding Kain.

OOC: If Mephisto wants Moebius' soul he can get it off Arithon in hell.

The orb came spiralling through the tiny portal, and landed at the feet of Lord Arithon. He picked up the tiny orb and laughed as he inspected it.

You shall suffer an eternity of pain and torement for your actions this day, magician.

((Arithon, who do you think is going to win that fight? Besides, the bargain was with Mephisto))


Moebius stared back at the demon, his face sullen and pale, a ghost. Then he broke down and cried. He knew what was going to come. What he had paid for.

"Take it...it is your's..." Moebius wept, and treasured these moments of painlessness. it would be the last he would have for a long time.

OOC: End this, but Cardinal Richelieu is going to want to see Kain. Something about a reward.

IC: "What? No fighting? Nothing? How dissapointing. Now, where to put you, where to put you... I think mages go to #9."

A loud voice came out. "Um, actually, I feel that there's a slight side in his favor." An angel appeared.

"What? What do you mean, Ralph?"

"He did help save the world, if you forgot. And it's Rapheal, thank you."

"Whatever. Still, a contract's a contract." As the two immortals argued, Moebius quietly slipped away...


((Some characters have too much thought put into them to destroy.))

Moebius before the final act was palyed out of his existance said in a hushed voice, for he barely had the strength or will to speak.

"But, if I had disobayed Kain, my fate would have been far worse. This is paradise in comparison, I thank you for your mercy."

Kain was ready. It was time he ended this. He stopped dancing and chanting for a second. Then the voices combined spoke, the harmony of the six spirits wonderous to hear. Kain's body was pure energy, with all the colours of the sprirts of the elements. The room filled with the spectrum of colours, it was in perfect harmony.


"And so, with the exiled one with this act of sacrifice has chosen to help you once again. Indeed he is the true Psi. Thus, the circle is complete, let the two world for now, be two and not one. We seal the portal, go now to thy homeland demons." The avatar said looking at the demons here, with an outstreached hand. It did not cast a single spell, it simple ordered them to leave, as the portal was groaning and slowly closing.

The demons attempted to fight the spell....... but they were outmatched. They were consumed with so much fury that they were determined to leave their mark. They all moved toward eachother, digging their claws into the one next to them. Several chants escaped their fanged mouths in a demonic hiss. With a sudden burst of illumination they began to glow crimson.

Your kind shall suffer for this!

They gathered the remains of the demonic energy within the temple, channelling it through their own bodies. A deafening scream escaped their throats as the pain became unbearable.

Finally they could contain it no longer.........

Mephisto appears in Hell. Arithon, you have something that belongs to me.

Kigari watched, amazed. Then she concentrates. A bolt of holy power slams into the demons, followed by a holy water grenade.

Richelieu notices something is happening. He presses a button on his desk. "Strike force alpha, the one known as Subject 57 is within Roania. Capture him, and bring him to me."

20 Inquisitors run onto a dropship.

The Avatar looked on calmly, still floating.

"No. This is not how it ends. Your time here is up, as is ours for now. Balance will be restored, you cannot deny this."

The Avatar, lifted up a hand, and sent a tidal wave of energy, the colours of all the elements within it. The stream came forwards, attempting to prevent thier spell, to contain it.

The Avatar looked back upon those still remaining.

"Leave now. Your lives and souls are still at risk here. Go now." The avatar gently commanded the people below. The Avatar knew that the temple would not explode or anything like that. But....they should not see this.

Looking back at Simon's body, Kigari left slowly.

Eric chased after her.

(OOC Brilliant! I forgot about the inqisitors! Good job, this should get interesting....)

Lord Arithon looked slightly disappointed but he was not going to pick a fight with Mephisto.

Here, take him. What are you going to do with him?

Arithon handed the orb over to Mephisto.

The demons took the blasts but were not phased by it, the energy had taken far beyond the pain inflicted by the holy. As the energy flowed forth it was contained by the Avatar. This enraged the demons further, providing more power to the wave of destruction.

"Cease this. It is pointless. Let the balance be restored, let your time in the next world be painless. The demon within the sword shall be free, but not now. You shall get your general back...but not this day. Go back to the shadow realm, to allow destiny to take it's course. The Avatar spoke again.

It counter acted any force given towards it, the portal was slowly closing, It would only stay open for a few more minutes...

Lord Arithon looked slightly disappointed but he was not going to pick a fight with Mephisto.

Here, take him. What are you going to do with him?

Arithon handed the orb over to Mephisto.



"Doesn't matter, does it? He's mine. His bargain was with me." Mephisto turned to take his leave... but he looked around. "What happened to the orb?"

Gabriel looked at Moebius askance. "Now, did you really act selflessly in saving the world?"

OOC: The demons are loyal to Arithon and Arithon only.

IC: Arithon looked at the orb.

Their rage still flaring, adding more power to the wave.

"Go back, before it is too late. Go back to your master, I am sure you would not want to be stranded here for eternity like the demon within the sword!"

OOC: They intend to go kamikaze style....... obviously it's not going to kill you guys but let me at least destroy the temple...... :?

IC: Arithon looked at the orb.

It's empty. Mephisto tapped a claw on it. It made a hollow sound. Which means one thing...

Gabriel looked shocked. "My god... an honest man. Been a while since we had a mage in here, man. Come in." The gates opened.

Moebius thought for a short while. Then his face broke into a smile.

"Thank you..." Moebius walked in, his staff by his side thudding away.

The temple began to shake. The vast energys within it where forcing the very fabric of reality in the place to collapse.

The Avatar looked around.

"You shall not kill them! We will not allow it! The avatar concentrated on making the other safe from harm, as the air began to crackle with the raw stuff of magic.

The area around the temple began to shake, it was begining to collapse! There where cracks forming within the ground...but the Avatar remained...to protect the others from the blast.

"Thank you, 57. We'll take it from here. Get out. We're going to holy water bomb the entire temple" A loud voice rang down from above. Strike Force Alpha had arrived.

Arithon pondered this for a moment. He then extended his awareness into other realms.

ARRRHH! Angels! How did they take him out of the orb?

Arithon smashed the orb in fury.

That man is rightfully ours! His deeds have been far too evil for this one act of preventing our task to redeem him.

Mephisto snarled wordlessly. "Damnable! But... rules are rules... there is a chance. One of us could... go up there and appeal."

He drew the darkness around him and disapeared. Then reapeared. "Keep a space open... Kain is up there. We may have lost the battle, but we will win the war." And then he was gone.

"You refer to Kain? He is one of us, go now. This place will be destroyed, along with you. Go now! The voice of the spirits urgant.

The temple rumbled...beams of dark energy where bursting from it, the earth was shking for miles around, and still the Avatar tried to protect thpose in the blast area. Thunder sounded in the skys, black clouds loomed and it began to rain. The demon's last act of vengance against this world, was to destroy a part of it.

GO! The Avatar bellowed to them, and outstreached it's hand to them. A bolt of purple energy burst close to the dropship, it would have destroyed them. The temple was soon to be destroyed, along with the demons, the Avatar and Kain.

The dropship sped off, after picking up Kigari and Eric. "Well, I think we can erase his name from the book."

OOC: I had no intention of killing Kain. But it is up to you. Is the portal closed now?

IC: The demons concentrated on their pure rage and hatred against Kain and the Avatar. They used their complete fury to fuel the destructive force consuming the temple.

(OOC I have this worked out. Please bear in mind, Kain IS the avatar, he is being possessed by the spirits.)

The heavens opened up and thunder came down, rain poured and Kain knew what must be done.

The area around the temple exploded in white light, blinding all that saw it. It ran for miles, a great dome of white energy filling the land, destroying it. It was a wonderous and sadening sight. The Avatar, Kain and the demons, where eliminated and dissapeared to thier own realms.

The dome remained.....it remained there for hours.

Cardinal Richelieu looked out from his balcony. "It is a pity that Kain sacrificed himself. I was prepared to reward him." Sighing, he took Kain's Inquisitorial Information card and ripped it to pieces. "In memorium of his sacrifice, I will destroy Daniella's as well." He ripped it to pieces.

A cough brought him back to wakefullness. The regenerated Simon Darquis stood before his desk. "M'lord, I report for duty."

Some other organizations might have spent time congratulating themselves. But the Holy Roanian Inquisition wasn't like other organisations. Perhaps that was not how it should be. But that was how it was.

OOC: So is it all over now or should we follow up the small details?

OOC: Since it seems we've been writing for the entertainment of half of NS, let's add the small details. Besides, I want to see what happens to Kain.

OOC: Ok.

IC: Lord Arithon launched fireballs of pure rage. The fact that heaven had intervened was bad enough, but for them to steal a man that rightfully belonged to Mephisto was infuriating. He found some comfort in the fact that the human realm had suffered at least some destruction. Even if it was only contained to the perimeter of the temple by yet another intervention by heaven.

There will always be more chances.

He continued to brood as he awaited Mephisto's return.

(OOC A few hours later.)

The lightened sphere dimmed, leaving a barran desert land, and no trace of life. There was no trace of the temple.

The rocky barren land was for miles around, it was continuous. But....where the temple once stood, there was a single plant. A flower, a white rose, alone, blowing in the wind. the area was silent, except the blowing of the wind.

There was only one person who admired the flower. He was sitting upon a rock, just watching the flower. He smiled, and contined to watch,thinking about the events of which had just occoured. He knew purpose now. He was not alone.

He got up, and looked around. Beside him was a oddly shaped sword. He stared at it for long minutes, and then reached out slowly for it. He gripped it, then began walking in a direction. It did not matter where, he was just walking.

It began to rain slowly, the setting sun causing the sky to go orange. He continued to walk, looking at the floor. He walked without purpose, he just continued to walk, his cloven feet leaving soft footprints in the wasteland. And at every step, a flower took root, and emerged from the soil.

He walked for a long while, he did not know how long for. But he stopped when he got to the end of the barren wasteland. He turned around, and saw a field of lush flowers, which had spread in the field. He smiled, his fangs still there, but the smile was pure none the less. It was a kind of pride.

He looked around at the edge of where the sphere had been and said softly, as the rain continued to come down, running down his green leathery skin.

"Where am I?" Kain asked himself, as he looked around still pondorous to who he was. He knew what had happened....but. It was distant...like a dream.

Kain continued to walk, his mind blank.

What is my name? Who am I? What am I? Why am I here? Why cannot I remember anything! Kain thought angryly. and his final thought.

Why do I continue to keep this sword?

Kain waled on, and traveled into a forest. He looked around..and continued to walk, lost in thought, trying to remember.

Then, he had a flash of his past...of when he was mortal. The happy days...the memories of the beauty of life....but he still could not remember his name...

OOC: there's nothing left for me to do...... unless mephisto turns up again. Anyway.... that was a good RP guys..... thanks to all who contributed. :D

(OOC Good rp. There is still something for Roania, the inquisitors can congratulate him...but he will have no idea etc...)

OOC: I was just thinking. What if the holy blast purified the demon side of Balfar so that he was left as an ordinary human? Or perhaps a little extraordinary but not evil anymore. He could run into Kain then.

(OOC As long as you could make it work, then go for it! Kain is very slowly remembering who he is)

OOC: I think this will work.

IC: Balfar awoke with a sudden scream to find himself lying in a patch of flowers. He was having trouble grasping what had just happened but his memory was quickly returning. After several minutes of simply lying there Balfar arose. The first thing he noticed was that he felt significantly weaker. To his surprise, Balfar also noticed an aching in his stomach and his fangs were gone. After several attempts he found he was unable to morph into his demon form. For some reason this did not anger him. He could remember his abilities and his actions before surrounding the invasion, but afterwards was just a blur.

Stumbling to his feet, Balfar began to wander around the meadow of flowers. After perfecting the ability to walk again he became more adventurous. He spotted a creature, dragging a large sword. Balfar decided to follow. After searching his brain for who this character was, Balfar finally remembered.

Kain.

No reply. It dawned on him that his psychic powers were gone as well.

"Kain!"

Kain stopped.

Is that my name? Kain....Kain what?

First Kain thought, flashees of memories of his homeland, of when he ruled. His second name was...

Brightblade...no....no it was not....it used to be. He had hazy memories of Xzar....the two battles...but what happened then? I still have the sword...that is called Brightblade....

Turning Kain looked upon the person behind him, hoping he had answers.

"Hello." Kain said quietly, the sword still in his grip. For some reason, his body would not allow him to let go of the sword, his grip tight.

Balfar looked at Kain. Slightly confused. He was expecting anger because of his betrayal.

"Kain. I'm sorry for what I did. But I'm...... different now."

"What...? Who are you?" Kain asked perplexed....he could barely remember who the hell he was.

"I cna barely remember who I am? Who am I?"

Balfar looked confused.

He has forgotten.

"You are Kain Irenicus. A vampire. You helped save this world. Don't you remember any of this?"

kain just stared blankly as a slight memory stirred.

"A....a little. I know of some of my past...when I was mortal...a Psi! yes...that was it." Kain said, his mind unearthing the memories.

He remembered about channeling, about the Psi, about the history of Velmora. About how he had ruled it, how he had resigned after the battle....after....Eavelyn had turned him.

"I am begining to remember...." Kain said quietly and sat upon a rock, hand on his brow.

He remembered the curse...and his face darkened. That explained why then. Why even now he saw death in all things, as they decayed...thier soul's flickering and fading.

"Kain when you remember what has just happened, you are not going to like me. But remember this. I have changed now, I am mortal and human. Things are very strange. I'm still very confused and not sure what happened. I hope you will forgive me."

"How can I forgive you, if I can barely remmeber who I am!" Kain shouted in desperation, he did not like this one bit.

He continued to think. The events of the acadamy, he was called.

Kain Shentavo...sired by....Ravelyn Shentavo. That was it. he remmebered his experiances with her....

"Tell me about what just happened.....I need to know." Kain asked.

Balfar sighed.

"You were involved in an incident with demons attempting to invade this world. I was one of them. But you and a mage managed to prevent the demon invasion, with the aid of forces from heaven. Your friend died and I am now a human. This all happened within a temple. The temple used to be where the meadow of flowers is now."

Kain paused for a moment. He remmebered a slight haze about a battle in a temple...but he did remember Moebius. He remembered him very well.

"Moebius...he was not a freind...far from it. He was more of an mutual ally....he was an evil man......but.....damn I cannot remember." Kain cursed. He remembered how the met, how Kain had defended himself agsint him and defeated him. Kain had spared Moebius, and used Moebius to his own advantage. Moebius had to..he was indebted to Kain for saving his life....Kain simply asked for him to help. There where punishments that kain had warned Moebius of....Kain shuddered at the memory of it.

"Friend or not he is gone. Many others suffered but none were killed. I find it difficult to deal with these human emotions. I don't like the idea of a human existence. Perhaps I should take my life and return to hell. You may want to know. When I first met you, you had a fledgling. A young girl. But I have not seen her since we left your island."

"Girl....? Oh..." kain was horrified as the recent events came flooding back to him, the first time they met, the way he turned her, the way Qui and Daja had cursed him for violating the laws. Kain fell to his knees and wept.

"I failed both of them! Ravelyn and Daniella! Why? Why did I even..." Kain smashed his cloven talon into the ground. He remembered why he did all of these things. The jigsaw was almost complete. The last remaining piece....was the temple.

"I understand now....I remember it all...of my curses...of my freinds...of my many enemies...of my heiratage. But one thing remains...what happened at the temple which made me lose my memory so...?"

"This I am not sure of. You were possessed by some spirits as you casted the spell. Then you disappeared and a the temple exploded from demonic energy. But it was contained by holy energy put in place by the spirits I think. I cannot be sure of this as I was severely injured."

"Surely....surely not. I could not have done that....why would they even allow me....?" Kain wondered....his mind still reeling from the new infomation about what he had just done. He remembered the ritual...one which required a hundred Psi to perform....

Kain stood up and looked around, his memory almost completed, apart from Balfar's betrayal.

"What of the inquisitors? Where are they? Did they get away in time?" Kain asked, looking around.

In a dark abyss, the figure of a lady lies curled up lying on a ground. A distant coversation ran through her head, the conversation of Balfar and Kain. She heard every word, which painted vivid sceens in her head.

The last thing she remembered was Kigari stabbing a demon aside of her, then an overwhelming power and this darkness.

She slowly opened her eyes to the darkness. She stood up, the voices still loud in her head. It was the only thing she could hear and think about, that conversation. She shakily walked out of the darkness, to find herself amid a desolate land. A flower, white and pure, lie there. She picked it up and carried it with her, holding it like a fragile robins egg.

She worked her way to the coversation.

She walked up to them and held out the white flower to Kain.

"Here," she said in a childlike and sad voice, handing it over as a child hands a mother a flower.

Eric sighed as he looked at the carnage. He let go of the bloody corpse in his hand and began to walk into the shadows. It almost seamed as if they embraced Eric. The demon that was in him had left it's abilitys in Eric's body.

"Why would I want that? I see no beauty in anything anymore...." Kain stated and continued to look at the floor, trying to remember.

(OOC have to go now)

A sole tear fell from her eye, but did not succumb that easy to giving up hope. She continued to hold the flower out.

She thought, "One day Kain will see the beauty in it again."

Um, the HRI thinks Kain is dead. If they run into him there's going to be a hell of a lot of confusion.

An Inquisitorial clean up squad arrived at the ruins of the temple. "Spread out, destroy all hostiles."

Balfar looked around.

"The inquisitors did get out in time. But I don't think they will be particularly friendly. Especially towards you. Perhaps we should leave."

Eric saw the squad and ignored them and continued walking. The shadow's hid his demonic arm as he walked. The cloak moved as if it were real and not made of shadows. Eric slowly looked around at the demons and the dead

Kain considered the idea and agreed. He got up fro his rock and started to walk, trying to remember details of the temple....

Aztereth throws his arms open wide, absorbing the energy. The wispy appirations behind him glow brighter. "Fool? You are the fool, for taunting an archangel as so."

"Aztereth, you dishonor the name of Archangel!" Richelieu said. "Inquisitors!"

Several Inquisitors swarm into the room. "Prism!" They all blast Aztereth at once.

Regardless, give yourself a little time, and remember...horrifying though it is...there is now a time-limit which all mortals must deal with. Time could be your death...think about this. But...there are many things to treasure as a mortal, being a vampire...it brings about many...curses as well as blessings. I do not know what being a demon is like...but I do know one very well. You would be extremely adept at magic, at anything! Think of it, you have existed for centurys I should think, you knowledge is wonderous! Other mortals could abrely contain the vast ocean of infomation you hold. Think of this....but....being mortal is frightening and rewarding at the same time." Kain spoke to him as he continued ot walk himself, remembering his own experiances.

Kain walked away...but he had gained something this day. A fragment of his past...something which he thought was lost...it would seem Kain still was a Psi...the idea was strange. A Psi was someone who protected the land, helped people and was peaceful in nature. Kain thought to himself that he was the direct opposite of this....an abomination against the Psi, against the earth.

But things did not always seem what they where.

I don't think my rp will be that big. It's more of a character development.

It is set at least a year after the first stage and is about this new breed and how his human side is dominant over his demon side. So he feeds on demons but is very confused about his identity. I'm hoping Kain can shed some light on his confusion, perhaps guide him to a certain path.

I'm considering an rp to develop the character of Balfar as well.

(OOC Certainly, would be happy to join. Kain has great knowledge upon this, and would be involved. But he certainly is not doing what he just did again. It would be interesting for the inquistors to turn up and find Kain again! The demon rp.....I suggest that you allow a few people into it, as alst time all kinds of people turned up.)

Eric stoped. Those bastards wouldn't. they have already comited a crime against Phalanix by shooting at him. He just slumpedd down behind the wall and looked at his demon arm and wraped his arm in the cloak and sat there

"Now will you come with us, Eric? We only want to speak to you..."

Several soldiers marched down the street, dressed in HOPLITE1 armor. "All citizens are to return to their homes. By order of the duke, all citizens are to return to their homes."

Eric spoted a fire escape and began climbing it up to a higher level of a building.

The Inquisitors give chase. Several soldiers spot Eric. "Citizen, what are you doing?"

Eric stops for a moment and shouts back "I'm taking the fast way to my place."

The soldiers look at eachother. Then they walk on.

The 10 Inquisitors chase after him. "Give it up, Eric. We can dispatch dropships to find Erica if we want."

"Eric stops for a moment and looks down at the ground. For being four stories up it looked a short way down. He walked over to the edge and turned around and fell backwards off the gaurd rail.

"Target is evading us." The Inquisitors jump after him, capes slowing their descent.

Eric lands on the ground hard on his back. He winces in pain as he starts trying to get up

The Inquisitors land all around him. "It's over."

Eric isn't moving but he is laughing. Laughing hard.

"What's so funny, Eric?"

"This," he says as his claw rises up and grabs a Inquisitor's arm and begens to crush it slowly

Another Inquisitor slams his mailed fist into the back of Eric's head.

Eric's grip losesns and his head rols to the side and his arm falls to the ground.
