"Why can't today go on forever? It can, and it will, I am confident of that."

He smiled, and squeezed her hand gently.

He shook his head and looked pleadingly at Raven. "I'm not the person you need. You'd have been better off taking one of the other people in the canteen." He sighed. "A member of the crew, not one of the scientists."

Black Raven's pupils narrowed in annoyance. "Okay, then. Be that way." He slung the butt of the pistol across Guy's face. He fell in a slump. "Guess I'll just have to do it." He pressed the button. A message popped up: 'Red Alert Activated.' "Now I'll just wait for that Tasmin to come to me...."

A maniacal laughter emitted from the ceiling.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Got you AGAIN! I, pfh, AHAHAHA..."

The klaxon went off again.

"Warning! Warning! Gullible man on board! Gullible man on board, exercise extreme caution!"

Leaf returned.

"Do you really think I would issue a red-alert at all? ESPECIALLY to someone who has the clearance of a squirrel that stowed away? Well, hmm?"

A maniacal laughter emitted from the ceiling.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Got you AGAIN! I, pfh, AHAHAHA..."

The klaxon went off again.

"Warning! Warning! Gullible man on board! Gullible man on board, exercise extreme caution!"

Leaf returned.

"Do you really think I would issue a red-alert at all? ESPECIALLY to someone who has the clearance of a squirrel that stowed away? Well, hmm?"

Black Raven was not just 'annoyed' now. He was 52 exits past 'annoyed'. "Why can't you let me accomplish this ONE THING?! I need to find Tasmin and you keep INTERRUPTING ME! What is with you?!" But then a lightbulb turned on in his head. His mood switched gears again. "Wait. Stowaway? You mean Guy is a stowaway, not a scientist? I used his security clearance, you know."

"No, it was called an analogy. I was saying, 'suppose a squirrel, the small furry rodent, stowed away. How much clearance would he have?' And how much clearance does Guy have? There you go. Need me to book you tickets to fifth grade English class?"

Tasmin looked into John's eyes, and smiled. "It can't go on forever. It's a known fact that a day ends after twenty-four hours." She continued to lightly rub her thumb over his hand.

Leaf is the ship's AI. You have nothing to point the rifle at. You remember Leaf, don't you?

Tasmin looked into John's eyes, and smiled. "It can't go on forever. It's a known fact that a day ends after twenty-four hours." She continued to lightly rub her thumb over his hand.

"Do you want coffee?" She hoped to extend the day as long as possible.

"I would love some."

The waiter overheard, and fetched them some almost instantly.

"How's that for service?"

Tasmin laughed, as the waiter brought the coffee over. "I wish we had service like that in Tartarus." She smiled. "It usually takes an hour for them to offer drinks after you've finished your meal."

She sat sipping the pipping hot, liquid. Damn, I should have invited him back for a coffee. She mentally kicked herself.

John sipped his coffee.

"Mmmm, scrumptious. Do you need anything else?"

Tasmin stopped drinking and thought for a moment. She shook her head slowly. "No, I don't there's anything else I need." She took another sip of her coffee, feeling sorry that the day was coming to an end.

"Well, I've been keeping this secret the whole night. Want to go to the hot tub? Yes, there is one. Secret, like this restaurant."

John smiled.

Say yes. Say yes. Say yes.

Tasmin smiled, then burst into a light laugh. She looked at John in wonderment, unable to speak. She nodded her head slowly, as she looked into his eyes. Her own glistened with excitement.

"This ship is far more amazing than it first appears." She finally managed to get out. Looking at him, her heart beat with joy. "And you are more amazing than I first imagined anyone on this craft could be." She smiled.

"Let's go!"

"Hmm, if I tell you how to get to her, that's more work for me, because I'd have to give you specific directions so you don't wander into the vacuum of space. But If I let you wander around, that's more work for you... Hmmm, think, think..."

John blushed.

"Thank you."

Ever the chivalrous, John opened the door for her, and led her through various doors that were locked. He opened the grandest of the doors last.

"Here we are!"

A grand hot tub and pool lay before them, ever so pure water.

"Hmm, if I tell you how to get to her, that's more work for me, because I'd have to give you specific directions so you don't wander into the vacuum of space. But If I let you wander around, that's more work for you... Hmmm, think, think..."

"Just tell me where she is. I'm sure I could find her on my own."

"And yet, you are the same person who didn't realize a metaphor when it was shoved in your face? Perhaps I didn't use the monosyllabic vocabulary you require. Did you become more intelligent in the past few hours? Didn't think so."

Tasmin enters the room, and her jaw drops. She walks over ot the tub, and put her hand in. Feeling that the water is just the right temperature. She turns to John, and smiles.

"This is too perfect for words." She walks over to him and kisses his check. Looking in his eyes, she suddenly realises. "I don't have my costume." Her face reveals her disappointment.

John is rather perplexed.

"Costume? Hmm? We can go back and get it..."

Tasmin shrugs, as she realises she never brought a costume with her. It was a space trip, after all, not a holiday. "Guess it's an underwear job." She slowly takes off her cloths and steps into the warm water. "Mmm, that's..." She'd said it so many times today, she left the sentence in the air.

John nearly faints. She was even more beautiful than he had thought. He snaps out of his daze and strips down as well, before settling into the hot tub.

"Mmm, that is delightful..."

He scoots in closer, and puts his arm around her.

"Mmm, even better..."

Tasmin snuggles up close and closes her eyes. She feels the warm water playing over her body, and sighs as she relaxes. Her mind straying over all the things that had happened to her today, and realised that it had been one of the best days ever, except knocking Guy out, of course.

Suddenly she thinks of Guy, and hopes that he has recovered from his slight accident at the beginning of the mission. She couldn't believe that she had forgotten all about him. She pushed him to the back of her mind, and smiled at John.

John grins back, face sore from smiling all day. He would not believe you if you told him there is a more perfect woman.

"What was it that I did to be lucky enough to meet you and fall in love with you? What did I do that the gods were lucky enough to smile upon me?"

He stroked her arm and smiled.

Tasmin laughs, the sound melodic to her own ears. She feels like she's sitting in some dream, where any moment the scene will fade and she'd find herself lying in a dark room, her eyes gazing at the ceiling.

Feeling John's touch on her skin, brought her senses to accept that this was reality, and the spell would not be quickly shattered. She looked into his deep pools of blue, drowning in his eyes, never wanting to be rescued. She leant forward and gently pressed her lips to his, savouring the sensation.

She didn't feel the need for words, her heart spoke through her actions; her eyes telling her souls own story.

John pressed his lips back, ever so gently sucking. He brushed her luxurious hair behind her head, and continued to stroke it.

"Well, I should send then a thank you note, at least."

John smiled, and returned to gently stroking her arm, letting the tactile sensation make the both of them happy.

Tasmin finding comfort in his touch, turned her face to meet his, and smiled. The warm water playing on her skin, brushing away any remaining fears she had. She was in heaven, and wouldn't have been surprise to have seen a choir of angels, singing their song.

"I think they'd already know, I admit I've been thanking them all evening." She look him in the eye, then leant against his body, resting her head on his shoulder.

"And yet, you are the same person who didn't realize a metaphor when it was shoved in your face? Perhaps I didn't use the monosyllabic vocabulary you require. Did you become more intelligent in the past few hours? Didn't think so."

"And perhaps you are giving me a two-Tylenol headache," Black Raven said. He was about to break down from the pressure Leaf had piled on him. What had originally sounded like an easy task-invade ship, find Tasmin, get money-was now inhumanely difficult thanks to the ship itself. "Why don't you manifest so I can kill you now? There must be someone controlling you."

"A TWO-Tylenol headache? Ooooh, I'm impressed. Just how am I supposed to manifest, hmm? Shooting a hologram doesn't work. Who is controlling me? That is just an insult. I control humans. Now, I don't feel like it, so can you just jettison yourself into space?"

"Ah. Do you treat the other passengers on this ship with as much disgust?"

Guy took that moment to emerge from his unconsciousness. Growing accustomed to the light, his eyes rested on Raven and Leaf. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the cobwebs, and wished he hadn't, as a dizziness threatened to engulf him.

He rose slowly to his feet, and rub a hand lightly over his bruised face. He felt an anger rise through his body, picking up the first heavy object he could find, he swung and hit Raven across the back of the head.

Black Raven was jilted from his staring at the ceiling, staring at Leaf. He rocked back and forth for a moment, stunned, then turned to see Guy. "...eh...the...hell did you come from?" He looked lazy-eyed at Guy. "You...woke up...hm." He smirked and shook his head to awaken himself from his near-unconsciousness. "You know this Leaf, Guy? He's very annoying. Gave me a headache. Which I see you were also trying to give me. But it's too late for that." With a move unmeasurable by human time, he swung his pistol to Guy and fired. Twice. At the head.

Unfortunately for Raven, but most advantageous to Guy. He took that exact moment to fall to the floor, his dizziness overcoming him due to over exertion. The shots flew off into the distance blowing holes in the wall.


[ooc: do you have a problem Xexo? This is meant to be a peaceful RP. So far you have drugged, knocked out and tried to kill my character.]

Unfortunately for Raven, but most advantageous to Guy. He took that exact moment to fall to the floor, his dizziness overcoming him due to over exertion. The bullets flew off into the distance imbedding themselves in the wall.

OOC: My problem is with Imnsvale and his repeated interference. Oh, and BTW, the Nikko 24/h is a laser pistol. So though you did dodge them, the lasers made a couple of holes in said wall.
