the issue "Guns Or Butter?" is based on the assumption that the military is evil and something must be done to limit it. i would like to see a proposal that celebrates the military for keeping us safe and more funding for space weapons and futuristic technologies.

The point is, you must choose to celebrate the military for keeping the country safe - because where there is a military there's a pacifist with a problem, and a problem is the foundation of a issue not praise. A military isn't going to keep everyone happy.
And there is at least one or two proposals that deal with orbital weapons. I believe the character in one of the issues even talks about a Reganian "Star Wars" or something.
Good luck
Hope this helps :)

pacifist are not tolerated in Zenocolonies.
once again, the choices given to resolve the issue of "guns or butter" are written from a liberal standpoint and presupposes that a single protester should have the final say on issues they disagree with. the motto for Zenocolonies is "For the Greater Good". the only choices to resolve this issue are to punish the military. there is not the usual choice such as "who needs butter anyway? i say we sell all the cows and arm our girl-scouts".
i have dismissed this issue but just wanted to say it was the 1st one i've come across that doesn't give a real choice.

They all give choices. Just not ones anyone can agree with 100%. The issue choices are right there next to the words "Choosing the Lesser Evil" in the NS phrasebook under a picture of Dread Cthulu in a suit and tie. Cthulu for President! Why vote for the LESSER Evil -- 2012
