I think there should be a section under issues called "Government Position".
For example:
There are 5 or more scenarios that tell the others your stance on nuclear weapons. i.e when you look at a country it has a mark that says for nuclear weapons but doesn't own any, nation is against nuclear weapons. (however these should remain changeable.
Question: A foreign nation or this case the WA has asked you to sign a nuclear non-proliferation treaty whereby you will sign off on your opportunity to research and develop nuclear technology including nuclear weapons. What is stance on this issue?
Answers: 1)We will sign the treaty in order to appease the other nation(s). We are against all nuclear research and weapons.
2)Our government will not sign the treaty because our nation believes it's in our own national interest to use and research nuclear technology to build power plants, however we do not promote the use of nuclear technology for weapons of mass destruction.
3)We will never sign Preposterous treaty. Doing so would endanger our people, and leave us incapable to fight back or defend our nation. Our nation promotes the use and build up of nuclear weapons.
4) undecided at the moment.
