Not sure this is the right place for this, I have been here less than a week so for give me if it isn't. What does it seem there is never a middle of the road choice on the issues. I had the bicycles versus automobiles debate today, and I had a solution of building bike lanes and such, which would have the advantage of giving people the freedom to ride a bike, or drive, Thus still cutting Global Warming, as there would be fewer cars on the road, but still give people the freedom to drive. I am all about Freedom, but no matter which choice I take in many Debates, I am restricting peoples choice.

Hey man
How's it going?
Don't worry about it and just chill, this game is a simulator. We're all about freedom, but this game takes things to the extreme.
For instance I recently banned animal experimentation, which I'm sure you'll agree is a bad thing. Anyway, the game now takes it to the major extreme that dog breeding is no longer allowed. You see my point?
Hope it all goes good, and if you ever need help, come to me :)
There's always a space in my region for you :-)

If you don't like any of the options presented to you, dismiss it.

If I dsmiss it, doesn't that have ramifications that may be worse the the other Alternatives?

Dismissing an issue has zero effect. It just goes away.
All of the issue options are designed to be over the top. This isn't a realistic nation simulator, it's political satire. There's stuff in the FAQ and several of the sticky threads atop this forum that will answer these questions in detail. Have a look.
