The leader of Norveror has gathered his smartest citizens in hope to help NationStates out. Norveror apparently would like to submit his own issues

1. "I should be able to submit issues too", exclaims Yuri Novikov, leader of Norveror and Czar of his region. "I may only have 409 million citizens but I have some great ideas that NationStates could try out. Plus, I've been getting the same couple issues over and over, and figured I could help out submitting a few issues myself."

2. "Are you crazy", says Tim Bosworth, a citizen of Ugandaville population 8.34 billion. "Only nations with extreme amounts of population should be able to write issues. Raise the minimum population for writing issues to 5 billion.

3. "I don't know.", ponders Cyndi Kerrigan, a developer of NationStates. "I think we have plenty of issues...we don't need nations with population under 500 million to write any issues."

Anyway. I think I have some great ideas and would like to share them with the players of NationStates...

Wow! We even have a forum dedicated to the writing of issues.

From the NS FAQ:

"When your nation's population reaches 500 million, a link will appear in your 'issues' page. This will allow you to submit an issue for consideration by our game moderators. Remember to pay attention to the guidelines! (They're linked to from the submission page.)"

You aren't far from that number, in about a week you might have the population required. Then you can submit them, they may or may not be considered by the mods, depending on their quality and the mods workload. Good luck.

Interesting concept; however, suggesting a game mechanics change through an issue isn't the way to direct your concern for the requirement to submit issues.

That part was a joke. I was just proving that I can write one. =]
