The next day I picked option 4 for issue #133: When @@ANIMAL@@s attack!:

"Just repeal any laws preventing us from shooting the things when they attack and we'll be able to save ourselves without this stupid, authoritarian, overbearing government and legal system wasting our tax money!"

The next day my nation description said that guns were completely outlawed and followed that by saying citizens were regularly shooting maned monkeys for looking at them funny.

Could issue #133 could be edited to replace all instances of "shoot" with "kill" to fix this oddity?

There are things besides guns that shoot projectiles.

By choosing that option you've re-legalised guns, so there's no need for an edit.

I believe the "oddity" they are referring to is that they banned guns and yet their citizens continue to shoot things.

Or they're shooting bows and arrows, or slingshots, neither of which are a gun and yet still shoot projectiles.
