Unfair Issue Statements

Broks

I am quite a newby here. But really think I am the right part of the forum. One thing that kinda annoys me at nation states is de statements in some issues that really dont apply on my country. I have seen in the Issue repetition thread that there are issues not being given to nations in some cases. For instance today. My nations description clearly sais: "Crime is totally unknown." However my issue today claims: "In order to curb youth-related crime, the police have suggested a national curfew." and "The youth-related crime statistics in Broks are appalling," and "Just last night I had to run down some punk who tried to steal a mailbox right off the post!"

This doesnt seem fair. How can I make decissions for my country where crime is unknown on crime?

The fact is, for the most part, the issues are dispensed in a random number generator fashion. Some things will not come to you due to your government type or your ruling on certain prior issues, but a lot of them are just randomly given. The fact that you received a crime related issue when your national description has no crime makes the same amount of sense as the reasoning for getting pretty much any other issue. There is no way to dictate what issues you receive except to make issue decisions. If you really think the issue is unnecessary and unfounded, you can always just click "dismiss".
