Issue:
Some of @@Name@@’s elite want to own clones of themselves.

1. “I for one think it’s a wonderful idea!” exclaims @@RandomName@@ who is the head of government funded cloning projects. “We could charge a few hundred thousand @@Currency@@s for each one and since we already have the facilities in place it would be a win - win situation! Perhaps if it was successful enough you could cut some of our funding… not like we don’t appreciate the money!”

Effects: Tax Rate decreases minimally, population increases, civil rights increase slightly, It has become a symbol of status to own at least one clone of yourself.

2. According to religious leader @@RandomName@@ the whole idea is “An abomination! Cloning is simply our way of trying to make ourselves like god! We should not be playing with divine providence or all of us in @@Name@@ will be burning in the fiery pits of hell! You mark my words carefully!”

Effects: Tax rate decreases slightly, government focuses more on spirituality, civil rights decrease slightly, the government no longer clones people.

Any errors I made with the syntax and such let me know about, this is my first submission.

You might want to add more options. Yes, the first few issues have only a couple but there's at least one issue with six options. I'd say three or four is best.

The [effect] is the bit that is displayed on the nation homepage, so for your first option I assume that's "It has become a symbol of status to own at least one clone of yourself". The other bit you've put under effect would come under [stats].

Depending on legislation previously passed regarding workforce, you might be able to have an option about companies cloning employees without their permission. I'm sure there's more options that you can think of.

Finally, you can't submit issues until you have a population of 500 million, which takes about three months to reach. It looks like you've got plenty of thinking time before you can submit this. ;)

Well, did not know about that one... I guess this one will wait awhile eh?

I suggest an option where someone cries for clone rights.
