Early April fools?

This morning I accepted an issue but tonight I come in and sat down to see how it has affected my nation and saw that an extremely different description of my nation was displayed. "renowned for its complete absence of social welfare" has replaced the usual 'absence of drug laws' text and Religion & Spirituality being mentioned when I am sure I abolished both with a previous issue but worst of all is the line "and Max Barry is this year's Miss Aliquantus", I figured it was either a glitch or NS was issuing early April fools lines! Either that or the Issues need a revamp, because that is completely stupid.
Also, is there anywhere where I can review the results of each issue?

The opening paragraph chooses from a handful of different options and changes every time you refresh the page. Only the third paragraph deals with issue choices.
The Max Barry line is one of the responses for the beauty pagent. I'm guessing you chose to allow anyone to compete.

I don't know, but I still think that the best one they've done has to be this one (http://www.nationstates.net/hws) from two years ago.

That time they reset everyone's population to 5 million was funny too, though. (Although I agree that the Department of Homeworld Security page was the best.)

I'm not surprised.... a lot of people get highly emotionally involved in online games, for some reason. I don't think I'll ever understand why.
