Well iv gotten this question, and iv read on forums that is i choose #2 i would improve my economy which is needed.. but i dont wanna loose my
Its compassionate, cynical population of 45 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
And i dont want the private sector to be the largest part either... so im asking what will happen besides improving my economy if i choose #2? (im speaking nation description wise)

You answered your own question. By going with #2, you get rid of a bunch of policies that helped establish economic equality but obstructed corporations in their pursuit of profits.

So which is better-getting your civilians jobs which allow them to feed their family or having them starve because of idealism? Your choice.

*Has* anyone ever picked one? Will it definitely cause your people to starve or just make it more of a socialist/communist state?

Your people wouln't starve no matter what option you choose on this issue. Either a bunch of corporations leave and your economy falters; or a lot of laws are repealed and your economy booms, but the workers are suffering.
