I got an Issue with Issues

Hello all,

I have a problem with issues because sometimes I don't like the choices given to me. And I don't want to dismiss it because nothing happens. What I propose is that if someone doesn't like the options, BUT they have an idea of what they want on the issue. I think their should be an alternative. For example, say there is an issue about cars and one option says cars should be banned, another says we should track down all people against cars, and the last says increase funding for automobiles. I don't like any of these, but I do have an idea. My idea would be that we should form a program that funds car companies to limit their production and to use alternative (i.e. Solar Power, Hybrid etc.). I was forced to dismiss the issue and my country remains with said issue. What I would do is send the people in charge a alternative idea and they can either accept it or denie it. This way they are not constrained by 2 or 3 Black and White choices. Than You.

Read the FAQ (http://www.nationstates.net/58406/page=faq) and the Issues FAQ (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=421198). We aren't changing the current system.

Yeah, while that would be a good idea, the results of the custom decisions would probably be way too hard to implement, I generally choose the best response for all of my issues, and if I feel that strongly against them I dismiss them, though that situation hasn't arised yet.
