I got the Surpreme Court Nomination issue, and as I have a World War coming up in the group of RPers I play with, I chose the candidate who was a five star general. Before I did that issue, my political freedoms were at "Widely Abused". Now they are at corrupted, as if I chose the "let the people choose the Surpreme Court" option. My taxes and my nation description, however, reacted as if I had chosen the option I had chosen.
Is this a bug or a weird but correct result of the issue?

As if?
Dude, we don't know how the issues interact with each other. And they tend to have whacky unforseen effects. If Quaon placed a lot of restrictions on their military, then removing some of those would seem to raise your PF.
Or I could be wrong.
