Can these choices be MORE slanted???

Seriously, is there not a way to balance out the choices here??? You either have to come across w/ opt 1 & 2 as a far right wing wacko or opt 3 places you into the far left wing moon bat fanatic category. Has the author of these never heard of controlled, LICENSED hunting as a reasonable means of population control? My goal is not to appear as a centrist by any means as I am a conservative capitalist, but I am far from a far right winger. How about a few different levels of ideology instead swinging for the fences in either direction... Just curious I'm new to the game and have noticed a lot of really slanted choices but not many that leave you sitting closer to the realm of a realistic solution. Not really expecting any changes to come about but would like to hear other people's thoughts.

The Issue
In a bid to provide a new revenue stream for xxx Beef-Based Agriculture industry, it has been suggested that (insert your nations animal here) could be added to the menu.

The Debate
"The fact is, the (animal) population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Dave Bush. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks? We could have (animal) kebabs, (animal) pies, (animal)-on-a-sticks--the possibilities are endless! Let's not pass up this golden opportunity to provide a feast, if you will, for our economy."

"I agree that something needs to be done about (animal) over-population," says random passer-by Konrad Love, "but eating them? That's kind of gross. Let's just shoot the ones we have to and shovel their bodies into ditches like normal."

"I am shocked and appalled!" declared SPCA President Charles Licorish. "If anyone needs to be culled, it's us humans. The (animal) were here first, remember? We need to take this as a sign to get our industry--agriculture in particular--to back off. The (animal) is part of what makes xxx a great nation!"

Yea I'm still learning and have since found out that it doesn't really have a negative impact on your nation to dsmiss issues that you feel have a sensible answer.

Of course dismissing an issue doesn't have a negative impact, dismissing an issue has no impact.
