Corrupt dicatorship to psychotic dictatorship

On my nation I was aiming for a powerful psychotic dictatorship but when I answered issues that gave my people more rights without losing my power my government type changed to corrupt dicatatorship. How did this happen?
(I think this goes in the "Got issues?" thread because it is a question on issues, please correct me if I'm wrong)
You must have increased your economic freedoms. This can easily be done while simultaneously reducing civil freedoms - allowing companies to enslave their employees etc.
No, he increased personal freedoms, if it were economic freedoms it would be "Iron fist consumerists".
I had a look at your nation, it's because you are a UN member and they are forcing sanctions on you which increase civil liberties. You can not do anything about it except leave the UN.

Um, not lately it hasn't. The most recent Resolution was a Repeal of an Environmental Resolution.
