An idea for an issue, first time so don't be to hard.

Pretty much forgot how to put in the reciving countries name so I just put in @@Name@@ and the general stuff. So does anyone have any ideas to make this better?

Patent Problems Of Improbable Proportion

Stille Incorporated -the international corporation- is asking an appeal for the sue which smaller
Dan and Company has filed saying that one of Stille Incorporated newest and best selling product
is actually their patent and Stille Incorporated breached considerable patent laws in @@Name@@ among others.

Option 1
Dan and Company's lawyer John Moltke Smith has a strong opinion for his clients.
"This is what makes @@Name@@ great! The ability to make money for an invention,
to go against that would destroy the long held institution which @@Name@@ uses to stay ahead.
Stille Inc. could've given out a couple million -pocket change to them- and it would've of been fine".

Civil Liberties Increase, Economic Power Decrease, Lawyers commonly sue corporations for selling products in cardboard boxes or using bubble wrap without giving royalties to the inventor.

Option 2
While snarling at John Smith Stille Incorporated attorney Francis J.K Drake Bonaparte
yelled over the indignant journalists, "Stille Incorporated only cares for the people. That
company wasn't planning to use or produce that item, they just waited until someone with a
large checkbook came along and then charged my client a heavy amount of monies for just trying to
get out to the public a good product. This is the most convoluted use of the Patent Office I've seen this year.

Civil Liberties Decrease, Economic Power Increases, Change to Corporate Bordello if applicable, The National Patent Office hosted a celebration party to rejoice in having no patents whatsoever in the past year.

Option 3

A talking Hallmark card from some secret organization or other didn't start to sing "Happy Birthday".
"This shows for the last time that when left to themselves people just mess up. A lot of time lost with the latest Stille vs. Dan case, eh?
So why don't you just nationalize all of the businesses in your country, then everything would work smoothly. We would, of course, help you.

Civil Liberties Greatly Decrease, Political Freedom Slightly Decreases, Economic Power Increases, UN Standing Changes to "Father Knows Best" State if applicable.

Option 4

A courthouse protest group showed up at the end to set up a microphone and stand. Their
spokesman, Albert Speer, sneers in disgust at John Moltke Smith and begins an oral speech with
crackly back feed in the background.
"Down with corporations! We must destroy all the monopolies which are destabilizing our great country! Look how they shut out the little
man with their hotshot attorneys. Look how their stuck up snobbish names, his herd of initials!
Just be the next Trust Buster and I will vote for you!

Civil Liberties Greatly Increase, Political Freedoms Increase, Economic Power Greatly Decrease

Option 5

An old looking grandfatherly figure you sit near by to catch a breath turns to you.
"You know what? I don't think the government should intervene in this kind of business. Government
already decides on too much. Just say to them, go home, and make Stille give up making them and to
let Dan keep the patent but no money.

Change government type to Inoffensive-Centrist Democracy (if applicable).

I'd change the company names to 'Microcosm' and 'Sharp 'n' Pointy Things Incorporated'.

Microcosm sounds to much like Sun Microsystems and Sharp and Pointy Things is a little repetitive.

hmm, yes, it has potential. Just some advice:
-read the stickies on issue format
-get rid of option 5
-read the stickies on issue format
-combine options 3 and 4
-read the stickies on issue format
-make it easier to follow
-read the stickies on issue format
other than that, it looks good! edit it a little, turn it in!

Well they have already been used in issues and I think that Mods tend to change names to things that have already been used.
