Good issue although I'm not sure whether Sirocco lets in issues or a 'sexual nature. You should get rid of the '@@RANDOMNAME@@' in option 1 to stop you getting boys called Violet Wong.

If option 3 is going to stay in you'll have to change the validity so it's not valid for nations that have banned religion. Also, you may want to change 'Catholic' to 'Church of @@NAME@@'.

The first option needs a few negative effects - Crime could increase ('Well, officer, I have an excuse...' - 'Oh, ok.'), health could decrease (Unwanted pregnancies, STDs), Most Rebellious Youth could increase (Or decrease?), Most liberal should definitely increase.

(And nudity could increase, too)

It would be nice if an actually *sane* option was added. There are already quite a lot of issues who have no sane option, we don't need even more of them, they're just no fun :rolleyes:

A suggestion: I am all for age of consent laws HOWEVER could this also be a uniform law that does not discriminate against underage sex in a homosexual relationship?

This may cause huge dissent but I am not asking for special folk rights, just the same rights for everyone.. if 16 is the age of consent for girls it should be for boys too as it should be for homosexuals as well as hetrosexuals.

I suggest this because in some US states the laws are vastly different as are punishment for sexual relations with an underage consenting same sex partner and usually much harsher than for a hetrosexual one.

The third option needs a bit of toning down; it doesn't have any negative effects (unless you consider greater spending on education negative), for a start. Health and happiness increasing would make sense, as would the education funding - although it would need be a large change - but I don't understand why it would alter crime, or alter civil rights to the degree suggested.

I would agree. Why would crime increase so much? Civil rights should probably increase but not too much.

It has to have some negative effect, although I agree that some currently active issues could have more options(The one about perscription drugs for instance).
