any comments, or is it okay as is. a recent debate over this subject in the UN forum inspired it.

While stats don't actually matter, as I believe the issue editors put them on anyway, I'll suggest a few more you could have.
First option: Taxes down, crime up, police funding up, happiness up, personal freedoms down.
Second option: Health funding up, surely, if infections increase? Would also mean - taxes up, personal freedoms down.
Third option: Taxes up, personal freedoms down, happiness down.
Fourth option: Health funding up, taxes up, personal freedoms up, economy up(?).
Fifth option: Health funding up, taxes up, personal freedoms up, happiness up.

Also, I'm not sure about the word 'Dick' in option four. 'Manhood' or something similar might be better. Not sure if dick is allowed in a PG-13 rating.
And effects shouldn't start with capital letters. Minor point, but it probably makes the editor's job easier.
Grammar in option two - should be male members', 'we' should have a capital 'W', and instead of 'even if other, non-believers are not', it should be 'even if non-believers are not'

Okay but yes the word 'Dick' would be cut by the editor.

Also I think that perhaps the title is a bit graphic, it certaintly put me off slightly and made me wince.

I guess they wouldn't have the code for this variable but it would be neat if you could, instead of using DontCirc.com, use DontCirc.@@firsttwolettersofnationname@@

Otherwise, looks good. You can't use punctuation in the effect box, though, so the last one will need some editing.

Ah, the irony.

It's an interesting idea, but I think the issue would need a bit more depth than it's been given here. More research needs to be done.

thank you for your imput. i will resubmit it with those changes, although i am unsure about the title. maybe:
health risk or manhood mutilation

and change the description:
An internet site, DontSnip.com has spoken out about male circumcision, demanding it be refered to Male Genital Mutilation, and for the practice of it to be banned.

I very much support that addition to the proposed issue.

And I applaud the issue in itself because it's a good idead that is both government and religious :D

all though it might conflict with the issue where states get to decide wheather to ban religion and promote the 'church of @@nationname@@'

Conflicting effects are what NS is all about (isn't it? :p )...don't worry if it does end up appearing to contradict something else, it happens all the time.

If it gets accepted...
I submitted one a couple of weeks ago, and TG'ed sirocco, asking how long. He said at least four weeks, probably more, because of the holiday. End of January if you're lucky.
