Not Receiving New Issues

I hope this is in the right area =)

Since starting the game a couple of weeks ago, I haven't had any new issues. Every time I check in I am still awaiting the results of the democracy one. I am not and never have been in "vacation mode" and I have my settings at "one new issue per day". Any ideas?

I swear there was a post in this forum somewhere regarding this, but I can't seem to find it. I believe the way to solve it is by moving away from your current region, then moving back. At the next update it should sort itself out (there are two updates a day, wait at least 12 hours before checking).

IMPORTANT: Please don't keep moving away from your region then back again if it doesn't sort out straight away. You will be spamming the regional happenings, which is, I think, a deletable offence.

Also, don't take this as gospel. Find a mod, ask him/her, they (might) know what to do.

I'm not receiving new issues!
If your nation already has five unaddressed issues, it won't get any more. You need to dismiss some first. Once you do that, you'll start to receive one new issue per weekday (or whatever time period you've set in your nation's "Settings").

If that's not it, make sure you don't have "Vacation Mode" enabled in your nation's "Settings".

But since you've tried this I'm not sure there's anything else you can do yourself.

I've only ever received one issue, so I don't have any others to get rid of =)

It keeps telling me my gov't is going to adopt the option I've chosen overnight..but so far nothing (I made the nation over a week ago).

Have you tried the 'moving out of the region, then back in' trick? Usually that makes the game remember that your nation exists, and sends you issues again.
