Ok, so I got these two issues:

#93: Affirmative Action in Anisoptera?

and

#95: Painful Prices Paid at the Pump


To the issue 93 I answered 1, which is for giving people an equal chance in education, and to 95 I answered 2, which goes for more money on public transport.

However, when I view the stats for my nation I can see that after these issues have been resolved my government doesn't use any more money on social equality or public transport. Now this defies all logic since the answer to the issues directly say "I want to use more money on social equality/public transport", and I consider it a bug in either the issues or the game. Opinions?

Sometimes issues have very minor affects that may not be potent enough to adjust your statistics (I'm assuming you mean the XML).

If you're refering to the vague descriptions on your National Spotlight, well, those require even more dramatic adjustment to show change.
