Why are the only answers extremist?
Take the paper one
3 Choices
1) Fine newspapers for lying
2) Stay out of the media
3) Nationalise the papers.
What if, like many of these issues, the middle ground is ignored? I find I dismiss over half the issues because they are all extremist.

Not all issues have NBE (Nothin' But Extremes) choices. Still, it tends to make things more interesting. Besides, if you don't like any of the choices, you can simply dismiss the issue, you know. ;)

Yes, often dismissal is the best option if there's no choice for "keep things as they are". I've heard that many libertarian nations also dismiss several issues because they cannot find their desired option, but many of the newer issues are seeking to remedy that.

Yes, for example, with my anarchic nation (my personal point of view) i get hundreds of issues about the army, what I really want to do is distribute weapons to the people and abolish the military, so that people can defend themselves and stop the government from becoming corrupt and/or oppressive

At this point I must interject a little piece of partisanship....
*official Libertarian cheerleading squad runs into the area, cheers and chants their hearts out, and promptly throws a party for everyone who truly loathes the idea of 'income tax' ..... or any tax at all for that matter*
There's a reason "Libertarian" is called such.... We insist on recognition and enforcement of the actual definition of the word "Liberty".
Boo-Yah!
In reply to the original question: to make it more fun. Believe me, after a while you'll want to try out the more bizarre options, just to see what happens to your nation.

Well I dismiss 75% or more of my issues, mainly because I don't like the extremist views.

I only dismiss about 1/4th of my issues, it seems, but then again I'm probably fairly extreme (compared to other Americans). It's unlikely that you will be given an option you think is perfect; I sure don't get many of them. I generally just go for the one that gets the basic idea of what I would like. For example, on the one you posted, I selected staying out of the media because, generally, I don't want gov't. involved with the media. What do you call the "middle ground", anyway?

Not only do I get NBE issues, I keep getting the same NBE issues over and over again.

My problem is that on the good choices they always tack on at the last sentence something about killing all the ppl who think different. I have had to dismiss so many issuse cuz the choice i wanted would kill alot of ppl because of the last sentence

That's what I LIKE about those issues, muaaa haa haa :D
Overall, I hardly dismiss any issues unless they'll really wreck some objective I have (for instance, something that'll raise taxes right after I've finally been able to get a cut through). Most of the time I like to see what'll happen.
