This issue was inspired by three days of yelling at the USPS for losing half of our mail. ;)

After one man died of starvation waiting in line in one of @@NAME@@’s government agencies, a group of citizens is seeking better service and less red tape from the bureaucracy.

[validity] Nations that have more than 15% Administration spending

[option] "The fact is, the government’s gotten far too big and cumbersome recently," explains @@RANDOMNAME@@, while sitting in the waiting room of the headquarters of the Liberal Conservative Party. "We need drastic cuts in administration spending. A smaller government would function more efficiently, and besides, we can divert the extra money to things people actually care about, like education and social welfare."
[effect] government spending has hit a low point after a drastic reduction in government size
[stats] administration spending decreases, government spending in all areas decreases, education spending increases, social welfare spending increases, political freedom increases

[option] "That's good, but you're not going far enough!" shouts well-known anarchist @@RANDOMNAME@@ at a political rally. "Get rid of the government altogether! We must overthrow this tyrannical, overbearing administration! Only then can we have pure democracy!
[effect] lawlessness reigns after the formal dissolution of the government
[stats] civil rights increase, economic freedom increases, economy increases, political freedoms increase, administration spending decreases to 0%, government spending decreases, tax decreases

[option] "You can't!" cries horrified Chief of Staff @@RANDOMNAME@@. "Don't you realize that this government is the only thing protecting our glorious nation from expansionist dictatorships?! If the people were to rule they'd just make a big mess out of it! I say we make this government even more powerful, and divert some funding to the police and military while we're at it -- to prevent those ungrateful citizens from even thinking about revolting!"
[effect] the police have quelled recent protests against the government
[stats] political freedom decreases, administration spending increases, happiness decreases, military spending increases, Law & Order spending increases

Well, aside from the oh-how-subtle subversiveness of it, looks pretty good. I like it. Maybe the effects can be written to make them a little more interesting.

"...while sitting in the waiting room of the headquarters of the Liberal Conservative Party." I'm guessing that elsewhere in the world partisan organizations are usually officially sanctioned by the government? Because otherwise this doesn't make sense.

Even though most NationStates Issues™ are very far-fetched, Option 2 seems a little extreme to me. The "complete" abolishment of government in one issue? And why would the economy increase?

Fewer government restrictions on big business, and of course the lack of a formal police force or military would cause people to go out and buy weapons to defend themselves among other things, increasing the economy. The mods can work out the stats.

Oh, and fyi, "abolition".
