Note: This issue would only come up if the nation had decided to fund space exploration,
One of the recent space exploration projects done buy the National Space Exploration Corporation where men were sent to land on one of Jupiters moons failed as the ship suffered a catastrophic engine failure, sending many new space explorers to their death.
Issue Response 1: "We cannot allow this to go on! We are sacrificing lives for nothing!" Says Human Rights activist, John Blokes. "Hundreds of pointless trips to outer space will end up killing many innocent people! And for what? A little knowledge about the OTHER planets, not our planet, the one we should be focusing on. I say we end space travel, and increase funding for Social welfare, and then maybe people won't make stupid decisions like trying to fly into outer space where they don't belong!"
Issue Response 2: "Why stop?" Asks National Space Exploration Corporation leader Jim Comet, "Sure we may loose a few lives, but think of all the knowledge we could gain! If we understand how other planets work, we can better judge how to deal with our own! I say continue with the work, and full speed ahead!"
Issue Response 3: "This is rediculous!" Claimes Inventor Nick Florence. "Why don't they just work to improve space flight safety, have it approved and made sure that there is no possible chance of failure! Of course they would need a lot of extra funding, you know, inventions take time to be made! But hey, if flight stays safe, and keeps improving, we could be collonizing on Mars before you know it!"
