Submitted issue accepted-but no telegram.

Today, one of my submitted issues were accepted by the mods, but I received no telegram. Is this something new, or an error?

Here is the issue:

"Bring Back Our Booze!" Cry Revellers

The Issue
Crowds of angrily sober sports fans and university students have petitioned the government to repeal the prohibition of alcohol.

The Debate
"Banning alcohol was the worst government decision ever made," says Gregory Barry, a former connoisseur of fine wines. "One can only drink grape juice for so long before one gets most awfully tired of it! Our society needs alcohol: it reduces inhibitions, dulls the pains of our modern existance and lets us all have a good time. Yes there are those who abuse it, but that's their choice. The government needs to start re-issuing liquor licences right away!"
[Accept]

"It's certainly not the choice of the victims of drink-driving!" retorts police chief Bianca Mistletoe. "Or the families torn apart by alcoholism! Banning it caused huge drops in violence, vehicle accidents and medical costs. How could any sane person want to re-legalise that poison? What we need is more money for the police so we can crack down on criminals smuggling in and selling alcohol and impose heavier penalties."
[Accept]

"In large amounts alcohol is damaging, but moderate amounts can actually be quite beneficial," says Dr. Pip du Pont. "Like many other potentially harmful drugs, alcohol should available on prescription. Sure, it'll be more work for the health service, but I'm sure we can manage it... with a little extra funding."

Things were a bit different for these ones. Because Myrth's no longer a mod, [violet] had to put the issues into the game herself, and as such, no telegram was sent.

I'm not sure what you mean. The actual coding is done by the editor. Eta Carinae's issue was edited by Myrth.

1. The issue is edited by Myrth
2. Myrth puts in the coding
3. Myrth retires
4. [violet] needs to descend to the level of the Game Mods from Her holy throne to put it into the game???
Does the person who codes it also have to put it in the game?

Sorry, I just don't understand this very well.

[violet] can do anything as she is a game administrator.

The short and simple is that I noticed that Myrth had never been given permission to put the issues he had edited and coded in the game by the time he had retired. So I told Myrth about them, and Myrth asked [violet] to put the issues into the game for him. Which she did so. Since the issues were put into the game by unconventional means, congratulatory telegrams were not automatically sent out to the authors of the issues.

If I had done the legwork and put the issues in the game myself, the issues would have credited me as the editor. Obviously this was unfair to Myrth. That's why [violet] did it.

ANARCHIST ARMY STRIKES AGAIN

The Issue: The Anarchist army in [Nation name Here] which is aclaimed "The Black Clown Army" stroke again in another violent protest against the ideal of Capitalism:

"We need to stop these Anarchist right away" says famous author of the novel "The Ideals of Capitalism", John Cassidy "They are in our streets causing riots and attacking innocent police officers, this must be stopped. I say that we make a law stating that protesting against our fine goverment is a sin, that can lead to punishment"
[Accept]

"Down with Capitalism" Shouts protesters at the anti-capitalist riot." We must end Capitalism before I gets to our children" says a protester on the streets, "Think about it, all our children walking around in pinstripe suits talking about the stock market, ban capitalism in [Nations Name Here]"
[Accept]

"Wow, stop" says well-known Socialist Party chairman, Phil Green. "We cannot, we shouldn't ban any ideal in [Nations Name Here], we are a country which doesnt outlaw ideal but encourages them. Violence isnt the answer though, nither is a law to stop protests. Just reduce some funding from the economy, only some not alot, and put it towards Social Welfare. That'll make em happy"
[Accept]

So is it good, will it be accepted?

Taking the opportunity, how will issue submitters find out if the issues they submitted have been accepted in those terms, if they don't receive a telegram? Will they have to wait to get the new issue whilst playing? What if it isn't fit to their nation?

Thanks in advance!

They won't find out unless they're either told or they receive the issue.

I just noticed, submitters can still check this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=345941) to see if their issues were added to the game :)
