Question about minimum wage laws

How does dismissing any minimum wage laws effect an economy or tax or anything like that? This is one of the issues ive received. I am not going to choose to increase salaries 20% over the next 2 years or whatever my one option is, but does anyone have any input on how getting rid of minimum wage laws would effect my country?
Also, does dismissing an issue completely dismiss it? Or can dismissing an issue effect my country in some way?

Without going into great detail on the economic effects of this, the more money the people have the more money things will cost, and the lower your currancey is valued at, however by not setting a minimum wage you run the risk of the people having no money and not being able to afford things anyway. minimum wage has to be balanced with a stable economy, without minimum wage laws caps need to be set on the cost of living expences.
My understanding is that dismissing an issue can still effect your country, but that is only my understanding.

My nation, Algeristan, has just abolished the minimum wage and our economy grew from thriving to powerhouse.
The more government control there is in the economy, the poorer your nation is.
I suppose NS is biased towards the free market, but hey it reflects the RL world.
If you want a powerful economy, abolish the minimum wage, ban trade unions and ALWAYS say YES to industry over environmentalists, lefties, intellectuals, trade unionists and others.
Also when your tax issue comes up, go for the option that cuts taxes and gives more money to the commerce budget, it will see your economy grow.
My nation ONLY spends money on religion, defence, law and order and commerce.
NEVER waste your money on health, education as your people should be PAYING for that themselves and NEVER waste money on those work shy bums in welfare (spongers who can't/won't work)
I have reason to believe that education does have an effect over the economy and by spending money on education, crime is reduced, which makes law & order spending unnecesary.

The more freedom you give to economic entities, the more they will opress their workers (thei civil rights will tend to decrease). Also, there are hidden variables in the game, such as happiness, that will also suffer from those kinds of decisions.

That's obviously a matter of opinion, you can have an environmentalist nation that has a great economy.

Dismissing an issue does nothing.

We are proud to say that Our nation has both a stunning environment and a strong economy. Of course, We've had to abolish labor unions, the minimum wage, and all consumer safety regulations, but We're not in this to be coddling, after all.

Incorrect. Dismissing an issue has no effect on your nation.

Wait - I thought that, by dismissing an issue, your country gained slightly in civil rights (less state interference in the market).
Regarding the economy thing, I have a tightly-regulated, partially-nationalised economy with stringent laws governing both employers and employees. Result? Frightening economy since about May last year.
The moderators say that dismissing does nothing. And I have heard that reducing economic freedoms does not always lower the economy; I do not know how that works.
