Allowing a book took down freedoms!?

I was shocked to see my political freedom listed as "below average." What makes this so shocking is the most recent issue to take effect involves a political freedom. The issue was whether to allow local schools and libriaries to make available the latest Harry Potter book or ban it from these shelves. I went ahead and allowed the book. I know I clicked the right choice because of the mention that Harry Potter has become a best seller. Why is my freedoms worse off for allowing the freedom to read a book?

(This belongs in the Got Issues? forum.)

There are a number of factors to consider when you answer an issue; while it may seem obvious what the outcome will be, this isn't always the case, sometimes their are hidden attributes that work in conjunction with other issues that you won't even know about when you take a stance.

Did you answer this issue and have other issues waiting for the update, too?

The only other issue I did at the same time involved army funding. Of course, I pretty much had to increase funding because the other option was to disban the army (really stupid idea if you don't want to be overrun.) If my citizens don't like their freedoms, they can smoke some pot, that's perfectly legal.

It's weird, but true.

That's stupid and needs to be changed.

I have to agree, the correlation isn't particularly strong. Kind of like answering "we need fewer taxes" to the Social Inequality issue worsening the economy. Makes very little sense.
