Spiritual Advisor edit.

I think the Spiritual Advisor issue is slanted in favor of Catholics, since their only competition is New Age group and atheism (no offense intended to any of these spiritual viewpoints. I have a Jewish friend (Rogue Land of Geinogen) who was very offended that he couldn't have a Jewish state religion. My idea is to add Islam, Judaism, and Greek Orthodox as options. If 6 is too many, we could remove New Age or even atheism, since they could just dismiss the issue. Anyone think this is a good idea?

We don't make issue edits of that nature.

No offence intended, but just because Max Berry is Catholic, I don't think other major religions should be rejected.

The 3 options are simple to decode:

1) Catholics as fundamentalists (I'm catholic, but I'm not offended) -> more civil rights and + religion budget
2) New age as middle religion -> little increment for religion
3) Atheism -> decrementation of the religious budget.

I like to have an atheist government, then I like decrease the religious budget. If I must only dismiss the issue, how I can?

Just make an issue for establishing a state religion. This issue is only for the advisor...

That sounds reasonable

That issue is also apart of the original 30 or 31 that Max Barry created when he first made NS. And to my knowledge there are no plans to ever edit those.

I thought that there was already an issue in which you can establish a state religion.

There is, part of the "Should religions pay tax" issue (that's not the actual name, but it is what the issue is about).

As I recall, it's called "Sacramental Tax Time" or something like that.
