Political Issues

I'm posting this because I simply believe by now, the political issues that I'm supposed to recieve have either stopped coming, or been 'all' deleted or something.

I've been doing the issues judiciously, and have in the past month and a half, noticed that the issues have slanted rather much towards the civil rights end of the picture, with a few issues in the economic realm. I've noticed that quite a few of the issues also repeat as much as three times per two week period.

I have popped into other regions to try if a 'rest' was needed, but that doesn't work. And still no such issues. As a result, I've had to see my political ranking drop to 'below average', when I had no intention of doing such a thing.

So, has the political issues completely died or what? All I seem to get anymore is civil issues.

Issues are completely randomly handed out. It's quite probable that this is simply because there are more civil rights issues than political freedom ones.

Then how come in the past three days, I've gotten this issue twice?

Pensioners In Protest

The Issue
Falling standards at Gaian Ascendancy's retirement homes have prompted OAPs to take to the streets and demand better treatment.

The Debate
"There needs to be more done for the elderly," says Abraham Clinton, a resident of 'This Old Man' retirement home. "We can't work to support ourselves anymore, and the pensions we get are measly. We need more benefits such as higher standards of living, free bus tickets, and a continuous supply of Gaias. All it requires is a little more generosity on the part of the tax payers - after all, we fought the war for their sort."

"I'm not giving any of my hard-earned wages to a bunch of old fossils," says Roger Rubin, a devout tax payer. "If they weren't smart enough to save enough money for their later years, then why should the government pay out for them now? They had their chance and they didn't take it. If they really want money so bad, they can go out and work for it like everyone else."

And I've gotten 'several' other issues multiple times in a short time frame each. Sorry, I have 'five' nations, and can tell between random, and a possible problem. Heck, I got that issue with building more bombs twice as well, prior to this topic above.

If nothing else, there should be less random, where situations like this are involved. Multiple 'same' issue bits does not strike me as random.

Whether it strikes you that way or not, it is nonetheless random.

I agree i think its totally random but in the sense that if your nation is lacking in a issue they'll ask you about that particular issue

You could set it so that the same issue does not come more than once every two weeks.
