Same old Issues

Although I enjoy my little country on Nation States, I must confess that I rarely check my issues anymore because of one factor: :mad: THE SAME ISSUES CROP UP EVERY STINKING DAY. :headbang: I understand that it is hard work coming up with the issues, but how many times do I have to keep agreeing that white collar striks be outlawed, that skateboard punks should be jailed, or that children should be taken at birth and raised to be the feared t-shirt ninja branch of my military. No more I say; my fellow leaders throw off your chains and free yourseleves of these lame issues. If we each submitted one question there would be a new issue or two everyday. Let me know what you all think.

1. Players CAN submit issues. It's covered how in one of the stickies in this forum. Indeed, ALL the newer issues are player submissions.

2. However:

[a] The vast majority of issues are not suitable, either because they are repetitions of previous issues, don't do anything useful or interesting, or are just really silly;

[b] The issues that ARE suitable must be checked over by one of the issue mods, re-typed to be in the proper format, tested and then put into the game.

3. Therefore, while new issues are continuously being added from the list submitted by players, the 'junk' must be sifted through and the issues re-formatted first. This takes TIME.

4. Therefore, the idea that these same issue mods could somehow code several issues per day is absurd. Unless you're prepared to pay enough for this site for said mods to quit their jobs and work full-time coding issues. Are you?
