"it is illegal to make racist remarks in public"
I am curious what issue arises this remark because it's the opposite of what I wish for my nation. I want my people to have a freedom of speech to know that they can say anything without any consequences that they didn't bring about themselves (i.e. non-legal).

I know. I've gotten it too. Thats just the thing with NS, some issues bring about the opposite of the desired result. Since I'm a socialist nation, I selected it because I didn't want fascists to have free speech but instead it banned racist remarks.

Ah! Did this come from banning the Nazi rally?

Yes. That was what the issue was about, nazis wanting to rally. I intended just to ban them.

Hell I banned them because I don't allow protesting in my country.

Neither do I. But I especially don't allow Nazis.

Yeah I dislike Nazis heavily. Hmm so this is a bug then. How could not allowing a protest mean not being allowed to make racist remarks in public. That should actually be something like, "and citizens are rounded up and thrown in jail if they protest the government." You know?

Banning the Nazi's rally, although you may think it well intentioned, opened up the slippery slope of banning forms of speech. Why do you think the U.S. constitution protects speech so strongly?
It is foolish to think you can regulate one form of speech and rest remain untouched. Speech should be free in all aspects (except where in cases it can cause unreasonable harm, like shouting fire in a theatre when there isn't a fire).
Besides, that's what makes the ability to disagree and speak out against another persons arguments so awsome. In the marketplace of ideas, you can defeat them with better arguments and well structured logic. Even though speech is free, it is not without its safeguards of dissent.

You can allow freedom of speech but ban massive public demonstrations. It's just limiting the scope.
