I am asking, becourse We have a lot of people at our region, that wants to make issues, and if we made this one somehow unacceptable, then we could save our and most of all your time by knowing what went wrong.

It will be a spoiler, if it will be accepted as new issue:

Name: Should organ donations from living people be allowed?

Description: Organ donations are important but not all possibilities have been fully used. We need donations from living people - this would also bring a new possibility to poor people to earn some extra living.

Validity: Valid for all nations

Options:
[option] "I know several wealthy people who have worked all their life hard but then get sick", says doctor @@RANDOMNAME@@ from the Deluxe Medical Center of @@NATION@@. "It is not fair that these people can not enjoy the wealth that they have earned - and only because some medical reason that could be solved easily. For example a CEO that I know is without a leg after a yacht accident - now he could get a better life if someone would sell him his own leg. And a CEO also plays golf better with two legs - this is important in a business life and would improve our economy."

[effect] Selling non vital organs by living people is allowed, the poor people with a missing limb would be taken care by the public health care
[stats] civil rights decreases, economy decreases, tax rate increases

[option] "This is a horrible idea!", says @@RANDOMNAME@@ with a good, healthy heart. "Doing this you would make the poor people unable to reach a good life: maybe they could not accept a job that was offered to them - and the only reason was that they have sold their arm to a devil! This would just make the poor people also sick."

[effect] Selling organs by living people is not allowed
[stats] no changes

[option] "This is a great idea, but we cold bring it further", says @@RANDOMNAME@@, owner of the biggest brewery of @@NATION@@. "I think that we should also allow transplanting vital organs from living people. When a transplant of a vital organ is needed we could use swapping: for example the donator would give his healthy heart - or liver - to the one that is paying the operation and the donator would get the less good heart - or liver - in return... and of course some amount of money. But I think that the one that got the healthy organ should pay the medical costs of the one that donated his healthy organs and got the less good one. This way the state would save some money, too. A win-win situation!"

[effect] Selling all organs by living people is allowed, the future medical costs of the donator would be paid by the one that also paid the transplant
[stats] civil rights decreases, economy increases, tax rate decreases, political rights decreases

[option] "I am against selling the organs", says your brother @@RANDOMNAME@@. "It is too expensive even for our wealthy people. But we could use our prisoners for this. It really does not matter if a prisoner has one or two legs - or no legs at all. And as there is no brandy in the jail they don’t need a good liver either. And if a criminal would get a bad heart in return it would not matter much: they had a bad heart already at the beginning. Maybe these people would be finally useful for our society. We could also sell the organs abroad and earn some money!"

[effect] Prisoners are used for spare parts
[stats] civil rights decreases a lot, economy increases, tax rate decreases a lot, political rights decreases

There is already an organ donation issue. I think that this one is to niche.

Yes, I know, but that one has a whole different goal and the point of view

I tend to agree with the guys with the j's and u's. One issue about organ donation is enough. Why not pick a different topic and try a different sort of issue?

the guys with the j's and u's.
Wow. That's actually really funny. Can I put that in my signature?

We probaply will, some day.

This one came to our minds before we saw the another one, and on the issues FAQ was If an issue has already been made about the idea, don't bother, unless it's from a different angle

I would say that it has a whole different angle.

I would say that it has a whole different angle.I would tend to disagree. This is just a better version of the existing issue that allows people to sell their organs. Perhaps Sirocco or someone else that counts will stop by to comment.

Btw, there are actually two existing organ donation issues. One (#26: Compulsory Organ Harvesting Proposed (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=345941) ) makes organ donation by dead people mandatory. The other (#27: Cash for Colons (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=345941) ) allows living people to sell their organs. Perhaps you've only seen the first one?

If you drop out the first three options and make a simple for/against issue based on the idea of compulsory organ donation by prisoners, you might have a better chance.

Good luck,
Matt

Actually there was two possible propositions for new issue about it, and the other one was about compulsory organ donation by prisoners and fully disabled invalids. It felt too much, becourse of the fully disabled once, but with a little edit of that one......

Thanks

EDIT: On the other hand.... why bother. It would still be atleast as close to other once, so we'll just save time. Our time, and editos time...
