I welcome your comments - go easy on me, it's my first time.
How about @@RANDOMNAME@@ for the orphan fund, like it was named for someone?
It's very good.

Great idea, Pax. Think I'll put that in.
The biggest problem is that the problem at hand isn't clearly stated. This baby has been put into a rubbish bin, but why? Poor social welfare? Abuse? Increasing rates of teenage pregnancy? This issue has no issue and that will need to be resolved before submission.

I see your point, Scirocco. I do have an Issue idea for Teenage Pregnancy, and perhaps this should be a followup, as it was the underlying problem I wanted to address.
I appreciate the constructive criticism.

Also, I for one am very tired of issues that only have a liberal, conservative, and compromise option. Can you maybe add in another option that takes an alternative point of view?
Or at least rephrase the third option. Every issue I get third option begins with like "Nonsense!" or "Let's not be hasty" or "I can't believe what I'm hearing"

are yuo sure that Issue is right? I mean, don't the stats of the options, need to be some good thing and some bad thing, for issue?
if you make that, the issue will be better.

I appreciate the feedback. Here's a revision. Only problem I have with it is that it seems to promote one option over the others. Thoughts?

[effect] integrated sex ed and life-skills classes promote responsible adulthood
[stats] increase in education budget, decrease in welfare and crime rate

sex ed almost seems like it ought to have its own issue here, since there are several ways to adress it by itself. that's why it seems to be the correct resolution.
It doesn't seem to fit right now, since there is an assumption that abandoned children are only the results of teenage pregnancy- not necessarily the case (such as the abandoned children in the People's Republic of China, and we've much more horrific states here than china ever was)
it's as though you should have one issue for teen pregnancy and another for abandoned children, then you can address teen pregnancy full on, rather than giving it a footnote in abandoned children.
Oh, and the issue could be started by a documentary about abandoned children, or even a film that brings up an outcry for legislation. either way, you get to throw in a cheesy title.
