<In character>

Stop snivelling! As you may or may not be aware I am the benevolent Dictator VonBlade. I rule over my populace with an iron-fist. I know what's right for my people and my country. Politically they have one choice, live with it.

However, despite my despotism I am benevolent. Aside from the complete absence of political freedoms in my country I am a firm believer in giving my populace full freedoms in the rest of their existence. Religion is freely practised. Environmental concerns are high on the agenda without them becoming a detriment to welfare of my lands occupants.

I do however have some troubling concerns. I have recently been informed that my economy is distinctly unstable. I wish to ensure there are sufficient jobs for the inhabitants without turning my country over to the capitalist industriat.

Is anyone aware of any far-reaching consequences of reducing some of my corporate legislation? I wouldn't want to blight My Utopia with smog-belching factories, nor would I wish to see my subjects starve.

Some swift thoughts would be appreciated.

I know, but I needed to get across my theories behind running my country.

Basically if I pick Option 1, ban the big businesses, will me economy fail?. If I pick option 2, make it easier for big businesses, will I end up with an environmental catastrophy.

I thought I'd explained it pretty well above. I just don't want to lose my jobs, but I don't want heavy industry either. Yet I obviously need to improve business somehow.
