Well first I have to say this is a really fun game! I think there's a better future in it than your book, although I did like the preview of your first one.

Anyhow a couple of issues have gotten under my skin because I am either forced to make I choice I dislike or else ignore an issue that no responsible head of state would!

When enviromentalist bikers took to the streets I either had to ignore them or crack down, making it illegal to bike on the streets. Well I cracked down on the obstructive and damaging protest, and I had no option to privatize road building and improvements so that the bikers could bellyache to them, and start up their own bike freindly road building companies. :( Its not like I was gonna subsidize the automakers (sacrilege!) or outlaw cars. If people don't want pollution they can stop buying SUVs.

About 3 times worse was the embryo reasearch issue. My libertarian paradise now has a 'religion and spirituality' department because I upheld the rights of preborn humans. Civil rights = religion?? Bah! Where did the Left get that idea? Just because our government apparently takes a different veiw on when a human being has rights than some secular elitists (and I mean whoever wrote the consequences for this issue ;) ) my precious separation of church and state has been violated! All my citizens are being taxed an extra 1% so that the 'religion' dept of my gov't can tell everyone what to think. AAARRRGGHH!!

(did I mention that this game is very engaging? :) )

And in typical me-form, I now see on the issues FAQ that they won't be edited. Doh!
