Bald eagles on the Dinner Table?

Akiremah

In a bid to provide a new revenue stream for Akiremah's Beef-Based Agriculture industry, it has been suggested that bald eagles could be added to the menu.

Newspapers accross the country have been hammering the industry on the issue! The whole industry is in trouble, citizens aren't very big on beef, but analysts say that will change once most of the italians settle in. Beef sales will sky rocket! So there's no need for this! And besides, who wants to eat our national symbol?

"The fact is, the bald eagle population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Larry Spirit. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks? We could have bald eagle kebabs, bald eagle pies, bald eagle-on-a-sticks--the possibilities are endless! Let's not pass up this golden opportunity to provide a feast, if you will, for our economy."

Mr. Larry Spirit has been the enemy of the papers ever since he held a press conference on the issue! But surely there are those who are agree with the man.

"I agree that something needs to be done about bald eagle over-population," says random passer-by Jazz Christmas, "but eating them? That's kind of gross. Let's just shoot the ones we have to and shovel their bodies into ditches like normal."

This is a reminder of the typical view we come accross, but every now & then you get someone on the other end! The Animal Foundation (TAF) has been hard against the beef industry! They threat that if they go forward with this, they will fight for vegetarianism! And the group is huge, so that will definately hurt!

"I am shocked and appalled!" declared SPCA President May Utopia. "If anyone needs to be culled, it's us humans. The bald eagles were here first, remember? We need to take this as a sign to get our industry--agriculture in particular--to back off. The bald eagle is part of what makes Akiremah a great nation!"

This group is very radical, and rather kill a human than an animal. They close to being a terroist organization after the suspicion of them being apart of the bombing of a slaughter house that killed 26 and wounded 5 about 4 years ago.

We can also dismiss the issue altogether!

Wrong forum. A moderator should move this to Issues.

Dude, roleplaying involves more than annotating the issues the game gives you.
