There is some issue about maintaining a the grid...it mentions that the highest strain is when the sun isn't shining...totally false, energy isn't lighting driven, it is air-conditioning driven...which is highest during the day...peak hours are usually around 5-8 PM o'clock in the summer when the sun is still shining.

#69: Power Problems Need Bright Solution [Plumbumia; ed:Reploid Productions]

[...] Have you ever wondered when the least amount of strain is placed on the national grid? WHEN THE SUN IS SHINING!" exclaims Southern @@NAME@@ Electra official @@RANDOMNAME@@ [...]

It seems the Southern Ballotonia Electra official could be wrong, or maybe the power consumption patterns in Ballotonia are different from the one in the USA.

In general: imagine a nation where it's colder and hence not many airconditioners exist in the first place. Or a more 'polar' nation where daylight has a rather different pattern than the one we're used to. Perhaps the culture is different so people engage in activities which consume less electricity (but more other sources of energy) when the sun shines.

Basically, as one of your options an adviser is making a suggestion based on certain claims. The claims may or may not be true, and sometimes they're horribly subjective as well (like Christians being wacko's or re-education being a waste of money).
