Issue Problem

Most issues seem fairly balanced in choice, so there's all sides of the spectrum to choose from. Why is it that when the children are gambling your only choices are to ban gambling completely or let kids gamble and yet there is no option for age restrictions, or something?

Presumably, simply dismissing the issue will leave current laws in place, whatever they might be.

Yeah, with this issue the choices are too black and white. Why not offer a 3rd choice, a middle ground, like allowing the government to put age restrictions in place?

I mean, it's like having an issue that states "The Homosexual debate: 1.) force everyone to be gay, or 2.) exterminate all gays."

There is a clarification of this in the NS FAQ, but, I do agree, both sides are too extreme. I think we need a middle ground solution for a lot of issues.

They won't change it and you can take it another way anyway.
That is, currently your country follows the middle path and people want to make it more extreme either way. Dismissing it will continue on the middle path.

Now, the problem I have, in addition to that already stated, is that the religious opinion is always stupid and extreme.

Good to know. (Leaves to take care of the three pending issues she has)

Does dismissing a post affect your nation's classification at all? What I mean is, if you were extremely left or right, does dismissing it draw you back towards the middle?
