Recent studies has shown that 90% of @@NAME@@'s early literature and science will be gone in fiftey years, thanks to low quality paper and bad control in libraries.

Maybe only valid for nation with small/no funding for librarys?

[option] "Let me get this straight: the only books that matter are the bankbooks, says estate agent @@RANDOMNAME@@. "These old, dusty, boring volumes in our libraries never did me any good. I say we burn them in our powerplants. That would solve some of our power-problems too."
[effect]four-hundred old masterpieces are burned for energy
[stats]intelligence drops, economy strenghtens, envirement spending decreases.

[option]@@RANDOMNAME@@, Head of @@NAME@@ First Library, lets out a series of horrified yet silent gasps. "You can't do this! Burn books! Books are the base of knowledge, and are to be respected and cared for. The only reason that the books are in the shape they are is that Education isn't getting nearly enough money! Let's start a huge book restoration project. It will be expensive, sure, but if we can't go to bed with a nice copy of @@RANDOMNAME@@'s "Crime and War", where will it end?"
[effect]a huge and expensive book restoration project is under way
[stats]Education budget increases,tax increases,intelligence increases

[option]"Hmm, I, hmm, have an opinion," says professor @@RANDOMNAME@@ of @@NAME@@'s largest university. "If we just, hmm, print all of these books on microfilm, they'll hold for ages. Sure, hmm, microfilms are harder to read, but honestly, who thinks that a three-hundred year old tragedy is a nice pocket book? This way, we can let the old books rot with a good coincience.
[effect] intelligence decreases slightly, education budget increases slightly, tax increses a bit.

Please post comments, ideas, and very appriciated, a good name. :)
