An alternative to protesters...

Is anyone else getting tired of non-violent solutions to issues involving protests or things of that nature? I'm annoyed that when such and such organization is protesting or vandalizing things and generally getting in the way of my people's everyday lives, all you can really choose to do is agree or really just ignore them. I'm sick of it. I think a kick ass option would say, "'Why not mow down these pesky protesters with large caliber machine gun fire?' you ask yourself in a sudden burst of common sense. 'That would get rid of the current protesters and make new ones think twice about blocking roads and taking up space in my parks for stupid issues.'"

Or when you get the ones about the animal and environment lovers vandalizing SUVs and such, there can be one that says "'To hell with these damn terrorists.' Says General so and so in a private meeting, 'Sir, we have special forces teams standing by to take down these organizations. They are a danger to the people of our nation, and most be stopped before someone gets seriously hurt.'"

And for the results of these options, your country description can say "thanks to swift and persuasive action taken by the government, ignorant and worthless protesters and/or animal or environmental terrorist organizations spewing hateful ideas are now effectively eliminated and are no longer a needless threat to the populace and their SUVs."

So as you can see, these solutions for appropriate issues would be much better than the pansy "I think you should stop or I’ll cry" ideas.

You can always submit your own issues that allow violent crackdowns on protestors that will make Big Brother merciful by comparison. That is, when your population reaches 500 million.

Yes, suggest an addition/change to a submitted issue or right one up yourself to replace that issue.

Perhaps, when the original issue went in, the writer didn't want to relive Tiananmen Square all over again...

They say they won't edit issues once they're in the game.

However, there is one issue, I think it's the white-collar unions one, where the police chief tells you to move the protestors because they're blocking the shopping mall, will give you what you're looking for.
