Is an acceptable topic for an issue... or is it too 'mature' for the younger audiences?

Well, we have a prostitution issue. My feeling would be to say go for it...

It's topical, and it's important -- and people will be very divided on it.
I agree with Unfree People. Submit it.
Yes, it's a perfectly acceptable topic.

I'm glad to hear that from a mod.
I think if the issue is constructed, as long as you keep it centered around language you'd see governments and doctors using, it would be a wonderful issue.
They certainly spark up debates.
Although, it would probably fall into the category of, "issues that aren't submitted to schools."

Um, even though it's part of the school curriculum in most countries?

That was my thought as well. I'd say that whomever decides to make an issue related to something like this, ought to just post it here first in draft form. Hopefully a group of us can iron out something we feel isn't graphic, and yet touches upon the seriousness of the topic.

Yeah, I'd classify the prostitution issue as much worse than a contraceptive one. Honestly, the contreceptive one, I think, would be more controversial than the prostitution one in today's society.
