Idea for an issue for transition of economy viewpoint policy

Many countries change their types of government overnight, as does their economies. Someone should make an issue that allows countries to switch from corporatism to socialism and vice-versa. I think we are kinda stuck with the enviroment we have set from the foundation and this could bring in new light to the experience. I don't know if this was mentioned already, although it is very likely but if so... sorry for wasting your time.

You aren't "stuck" with anything. If you answer enough issues in the same way, any kind of government can change to any other kind.

Wouldn't it be better if you could make necessary changes with as much haste as needed?

I'd like something like this. When my nation was very young, I got the "economic collapse looms" issue. I decided to outlaw capitalism to see what would happen, and I've never been able to re-legalise private enterprise to any real extent.

I'm in the same situation as you, but if a socialist country has a frightening economy... then it means I'm doing a pretty good job

Well, it takes a lot of effort, but you can somewhat add in capitalism. I have a puppet that had "Private enterprise is illegal, but there is a slick and efficient black market in @@INDUSTRY@@, and I changed it to, "The private sector is exclusively made up of 14-year-olds selling lemonade." The secret is whenever it says, "Private Sector," choose it. And be patient.

What about the opposite? Is there anyway to move from a free market to the Private Enterprise is Illegal market? I've been working with one of my puppets for quite some time to crush free enterprise, but can only get down to the lemonade stand level.

Oh, and I've also had the issue about "Taking the final step and making free enterprise illegal once and for all" or however it goes and took that option. I was excited I was finally going to succeed, but then just saw that lemonade stand continuing to mock me.

Wouldn't it be great if it is just possible to change taken decisions? That way, a nation would be more dynamic I think....

You can change decisions, sort of. The issues repeat themselves over and over. So, next time, you can choose a different option.

I tend to stick to my beliefs so the repetition really sucks I'd pay for more issues and such if possible.
