Are there any issues out there that will raise your political freedoms. I've seen plenty of issuess that will raise or lower you civil rights or economy. However, any issue that affects your political freedoms will only affect them in a negative way.

Oh yeah, there are plenty. Allow free speech, allow optional voting, anything which lets people get involved in the government, gives power to the voters, asks the people to decide on their own in any kind of way.

There's also a real surprising one in Opt. 2 in Diving for @@CURRENCY@@; if you let your cits keep the treasure it's good for a two level rise in political freedoms (seems more like civil rights to me but that's how it's coded).
