The other day I thought up this issue, but unfortunately I can't submit it because I don't have 500 million population  . If someone else wants to submit it, then I don't have a problem with it.

Title: Teenage IM Infatuation
Description: Tensions have escalated between teenagers and various special interest groups over the issue of internet communication.
Validity: Not valid for nations who have previously voted to ban the internet
Options:
[option]"Like, whatever!" exclaims @@RANDOMNAME@@, captain of the cheerleaders' squad in one of @@NAME@@'s public high schools. "So I, like, talk to my friends all the time on the net. Is that, like, such a crime? Shouldn't I like, have the freedom to talk if I want to, lol."
[effect]phrases like "lol" are commonly used in verbal conversation among teens
[stats]crime decreases slightly, education decreases, information technology industry grows

[option]"Clearly, teenagers today are spending far too much time using online instant messangers to chat and gossip," claims @@RANDOMNAME@@, spokesperson for a worried panel of librarians and telephone company executives. "Not only is spending so much time in front of a computer screen bad for the eyes of @@NAME@@'s youth, but it is also time that could be spent studying! I say we require all instant message services to charge a nominal fee of 5 @@CURRENCY@@ per month. That'd keep those unruly teens off the net"
[effect]phone bills in houses with teenagers are sharply rising
[stats]economy increases slightly, information technology industry shrinks

[option]"Instant messages!?" scoffs cult leader and conspiracy theorist @@RANDOMNAME@@. "More like subliminal messages to me. We cannot allow our youth to be brainwashed by 'their' secret agenda. Ban instant messaging outright, and while you're at it ban telephones and television!"
[effect]teenagers routinely break shop windows and spray-paint trains for lack of anything better to do
[stats]crime increases severely, civil rights decrease
