Economies of certain nations

I noticed that some nations whose only form of business is "14 year old boys selling lemonade" that will be stamped out by the government soon have "imploded" economies. While I do understand why their economy is at this level, others with the same business have "Frightening" economies. How does this happen?
This just means that business is run by the government, rather than by private organisations.

The economic rating (ie Imploded, Basket Case etc up to Frightening) is different from the industry, which includes the lemonade sellers and can include things like cheese manufacturing, defense, woodchipping, uranium mining etc. Beyond that, I don't know how it's set. Pro economy is different to pro business, see. :wink:
