Hey, guys, I just banned cloning in Saskatonia, and the report suggests that all the genetic researchers were kicked out of my country.

I work for the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation in Real Life, and we don't do any human cloning. The only thing we clone are individual cells - something every biology student does in undergraduate labs. So the fact that I banned human cloning should have almost no effect on genetic (and most medical) research in my nation.

Please change this - it just supports the knee-jerk ignorance many people have about potentially life-saving genetic research.

Most issues will have unforseen consequences, as they are exaggerated and distorted - this is a game after all. The issue won't be changed but you can submit your own issue which maybe deals with the aftermath of the genetic researchers expulsion.

The exaggerations, to me, make the game more interesting. Thus, you have to make the choices more carefully just because you don't know all the consquences, even if they are over the top.
