I'm distressed about an Issue.

I'm distressed that the "Child Casino Shock" Issue has only two, equally nonsensical options. Where is the option to limit gambling to adults and thus institute truancy laws and have these children summarily tossed out of the casinos? I really think this third option should be added to that Issue. I had to dismiss it because I didn't think either option was fair.

Dismissing an issue is an entirely normal option, not a sign something is wrong with the issue in and of itself.
Personally, I always allow the kids to gamble. It's their own allowance, and if they want to waste it so be it. Maybe they'll learn a bit about the value of money when they gamble away their paper route earnings and then can't afford something they really want to buy.

I don't believe I've done anything except dismiss issues for quite a long time. So many of the new issues have no options that I can agree with that they are simply a waste of time.

I've found most of the issues have a middle gound, even though i tend to te left. But on the casino one, just dismiss it. I allow the kids to gamble, just cause thats whatI would do if I was in charge.

Squi, I agree. Many issues that could have say...4 options that would make sense...only have 3. It really pisses me off when the 4th one could easily but put it, and then I wouldn't have to dismiss.
The catholic/religious option always seems to be there though :roll:

But the casino shock issue is a classic. Still, I agree that quite a few issues have sides that I would like to take that aren't represented.
Actually the death penalty issue is even worse.....
I can't, but someone should spam the UN about allowing stupid issue sugestions. I there is no way to deal with an issue, and blowing it off is just too boring, what are you supposed to do? :?:
