This is my new issue for today. I am on a quest to build a
Scandinavian Paradise here. Given that in RL, I live in Sweden,
you might think that this is less hard for me than others. :D
But I have a problem with this issue, which talks about banning
capitalism. Is Capitalism banned in Sweden? The answer you
get around here depends on who you ask.
Socialdemokraterna (who run the country):
'Yes, yes, of course we're a Socialist country!'
Moderaterna (what passes for right wing here, who wish they did):
'Capitalism banned? Oh goodness no. Just look at Ericsson!'
Vänsterpartiet (the far left, who only dream of ruling):
'We're looking at Ericsson. Capitalism banned? In theory but not , alas, in practice'
Now, given that my economy imploded yesterday, my natural
inclination is to lift some anti-business measures. But I fear that
this issue might be written by somebody who thinks like
Socialdemokraterna, in which case what I need to do is have
the courage to ban capitalism. Given that I am already
Democratic Socialist now, I am almost certain that banning capitalism
will lead to a Vänsterpartiet dream world, which isn't what I
am trying to build around here.
But does anybody who knows the mind of the issue writer?
I would send them a telegram to ask, but, grumble grumble,
now that I have clicked on a recommendation, I no longer
get to see who suggested this one. This is a misfeature, in
my opinion.
So now I get to ask the world,
Grateful for your consideration,
