Repeating Issues
Spontilitation

I have been a member here at Nationstates for a few months now. I have had many issues repeated several times. I am wondering, if I vote on an issue once, then the next time it come about, if I dismiss it, is it treated like I never voted on it before, or is it treated like I voted on it the first time?
Pleas advise, I would really like to know. Thanks

 GamePlay, because I'm an idiot, therefore,
 Got Issues?
Anyway, when you dismiss an issue, nothing happens. The issue goes away, and no stats on your nation are changed at all.

It appears to me that when you choose a course of action on an issue, there is a reaction, it might be a lessening or raising of income tax, a change in economy, political or civil liberties or something more dramatic. If you choose to dismiss an issue (whether it's a repeat or not) there is no repercussions that I have noticed.

I noticed that too. One of the issues I got I actually had made a decision on only a day or two before that and received it again. Also some of the ones I want just don't seem to show up.
Another thing is that I dismissed an issue on gun control, thinking my gun control policy wouldn't change, but instead gun were banned. A friend of mine also supported capitalism in his country when he first signed up, but somehow the country came out with private enterprised banned. Does anyone know how did this happened and how it can be fixed?

Remember, everything in this game is exaggerated. I chose to let people smoke marijuana and it said my country has a complete abscence of drug laws. Once you've made your final decision, you can't go back and change it until the issue repeats itself. Your friend may indeed support capitalism, but every choice you make in this game has significant effects on your country. Though I must say it is strange you got the same issue within a timeframe of just a couple of days. I got a repeating issue this morning, but it's been over a week since I got it when I first started playing.

That still doesn't explain how guns were banned in my country just because I dismissed the issue. Earlier in this thread a moderator said that when you dismiss an issue, nothing will change on that.
And I know that every choice you make will have significant effect on our countries. When I made this one I strongly agreed on that Corporations do more good for society than bad. But I also strongly agreed on that nations should be judge on how they treat their worst off citizens.
