Migration/ Asylum would make a great issue. There is a RL debate going on about this at the moment in the UK, and other some counteries.

1) open imigration could grow the population significantly, grow the economy slighly and increase civil rights, and increase crime slighly.
2) limited/selective Migration/ Asylum could grow the population, civil rights and economy slighly. increase the size of government. Dr Freeman, chair of the @@Nations@@ medical council, said "We are desperate in need of more Doctors to staff our growing medical sector and we should import them, providing they are willing to join our association of cause.
3) staus quote. Fascist party resprisentative said "We dont want these foreigners, their food smells funny and that make me feel sick."

Why not try to make it into a proper issue? Go to the issues page and at the bottom there is a link saying: "Want to contribute an issue to nationstates? Do it here!" If you click on that and then on "Issue submission guidelines" you will find out how to make it a proper issue.
