Sacramental Tax Time? 0% Income Tax

18-02-2004, 14:40
The "Sacramental Tax Time?" issue shouldn't appear for nations with 0% Income Tax. I want to choose the "tax religion the same as everybody else" option, but that would probably increase my overall taxes from 0%...

Too late.

I took it thinking it would reduce the average rate of tax. By getting a new group from rich revenue would be gained, then the average for everyone else paying would go down.

My only question would be "how many people in your country are
religious at all?", which would decide how substantially the tax would go
up (i.e. if it will go up at all).
But it's late, and so doubtless many ideas, dumb or otherwise, go through my head.
I'll call it an evening, I think.

Good luck with your tax question,

This issue shouldn't have much meaning for me, since all religious institutions are banned anyway.

Should not average taxes be going down, after all by bringing more people in as tax payers and that being a organisation tax, then the amount paid by everyone will be less.

Remember, most of these issues have symbols with deeper meaning sometimes. Forget about how much you tax, I myself have no income tax. However, your decision on this issue determines whether you uphold the conventional separation of church and state. Taxing is simply a means of gaining your opinion.
Like it as not, I decided not to tax. I did this for the same reason that I would fight against allowing girls to be drafted. Both involve enlarging the scope of a governmental abuse to another group. I oppose both, but while they exist, I will make sure that they affect the fewest amount of people until gone.
